As per the exam pattern of CTET, the question paper for the elementary stage contained question from the following sections:
Child Development & Pedagogy
Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher)
Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher)
The language I, Language II, Child Development and Pedagogy sections have 30 questions each, while Mathematics and Science, Social Studies/Social Sciences carry a weightage of 60 questions each. Candidates get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the elementary stage of CTET exam 2020.
The exam conducting authority releases the official answer key of CTET 2020 for papers - paper I and II in PDF format. Candidate can go through CTET answer key to know the correct answers of all the questions asked in the exam. In case of discrepancy in the answer key, candidates can also raise objections. To raise objections in the answer key of CTET, candidates can go through a answer key challenge window which is released by the examination authority few days after the release of answer key. After the scrutinisation of the answer key, the authority releases the CTET final answer key on the basis of which the result is announced.
CBSE will announce the result of CTET 2020 in the form of login. Candidates must use their login credentials - roll numbers to check their respective result of 2020 CTET. The result of CTET will be announced for both papers - paper I and II.
