CTET Question PapersCTET Question Paper 2018 – CBSE will release CTET question papers 2018 for aspiring candidates to refer. The entrance test is conducted in offline mode. CTET question papers are crucial from the preparation point of view. Candidates who will practice CTET 2018 question papers have a higher possibility of scoring better in the exam. The previous years question papers of CTET help candidates in improving their speed, accuracy, and understanding the nature and type of questions that come in the actual test. CTET question papers carry the actual questions which have come in the exam. Apart from the previous year's question papers, candidates must also practice CTET sample papers and take mock tests to ensure better performance in the test.

 

CTET Exam 2018 is conducted in two stages, primary and elementary stage. The primary stage paper is held for candidates aspiring to be teachers of class I to V, while the elementary stage is conducted for aspirants who want to be teachers of class VI to VIII.

Importance of CTET Question Paper 2018

 

Aspiring candidates refer to a lot of books in order to prepare for the CTET exam. They even take coaching in order to prepare themselves to qualify for the CTET exam, but the sample papers of CTET can be even more beneficial to them. By referring to the previous year question papers of CTET, candidates can understand the pattern and the type of questions expected to come in the test, sectional weighatage and marking scheme.

 

Solving CTET question papers can help the candidates in the following ways:

 

1.) Improves the speed and accuracy – Candidates must solve the previous year question papers of CTET in order to improve their speed of solving the question papers. Continuous practice will help the aspiring candidates develop accuracy in solving the questions.

2.) Develops confidence – Candidates who are appearing for the CTET exam 2018 for the first time might be nervous. Sometimes it happens that the candidate forgets the important theories and methodology for solving a question despite a good preparation. However, in such situations, practicing the sample papers of CTET helps the candidate a great deal in terms of developing confidence in solving a question. A candidate who has solved a lot of sample questions of CTET will find the question paper friendly and would feel confident about CTET exam.

3.) Knowledge – While solving the CTET question paper 2018, candidates might come across various questions for which they may not know the answer. CTET Question Paper 2018 for the primary stage

Question paper of CTET 2018 for primary stage carries questions which are of objective nature (multiple choice). The question paper is divided into five sections:

  • Language I

  • Language II

  • Mathematics

  • Environmental Science

  • Child Development and Pedagogy 

30 questions are asked from each section and each section carries 30 marks. Candidates get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the primary stage of the CTET exam 2018.

CTET Question Paper 2018 for elementary stage

 The question paper of CTET for the elementary stage is divided into five sections:

  • Language I

  • Language II

  • Child Development & Pedagogy

  • Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher)

  • Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) 

The language I, Language II, Child Development and Pedagogy sections have 30 questions each, while Mathematics and Science, Social Studies/Social Sciences carry a weightage of 60 questions each. Candidates get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the elementary stage of CTET exam 2018.
