The CTET 2026 exam was conducted across the country at 1803 examination centres. Both CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 were scheduled as per the official notification. While the majority of the centres completed the exam smoothly, a minor disruption was reported in one district.
Out of 1803 examination centres for the CTET exam across the country, Paper 2 has been conducted successfully at 1801 examination centres. However, the CTET examination of Paper 2 at two centres at Vaishali (Hajipur) could not be conducted due to unavoidable circumstances.
The affected CTET 2026 exam centres are 125016 - ST. JOHN'S ACADEMY, BASMATI NAGAR and 125014 - LAKSHYA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, candidates allotted to these two centres were unable to appear for the examination.

CBSE has clarified that the re-examination of candidates allotted at these two centres shall be conducted within 15 days. The revised schedule of examination will be intimated to the concerned candidates separately. So, we can expect that the CTET re-exam will be conducted in the 4th week of February 2026.
Candidates from the affected centres will soon receive communication regarding their revised CTET exam date 2026 for the February session. Only after the CTET re-exam is completed will the board proceed with the next stages, including the release of the official CTET answer key 2026 (provisional).
