IBPS RRB Exam Analysis 2020 ( Officer Scale II & III)
In Officer scale II exam, questions were evenly distributed between all the 5 sections - Financial Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. The Financial Awareness section had easy to moderate difficulty level questions, whereas questions in the Computer Knowledge section were very easy.
The Reasoning Ability Section of the exam was also easy and there were 10 questions from the seating arrangement in the exam. The Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation sections were also easy. In this section, 15 questions were asked from Data Interpretation whereas the remaining 15 were from topics like compound interest, partnership, time and work, pipes and cistern and probability. The English Language section was also easy as per the students who appeared for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II exam

This year one of the thing that we saw in reasoning ability section, there ere very few or in some shifts there were no questions syllogism which is known for one of the important chapters. IBPS RRB 2020 Officer Scale - I Prelims Exam Analysis (Day 1 Shift-wise)
Shift 1
Reasoning Ability
Talking about the Reasoning Ability Section of the first shift , there were 10 questions from the Seating arrangement, 5 questions from Coding-decoding, in the puzzle box there were 10 questions, 5 questions from inequality and 5 and 7 questions from Blood Relation and Miscellaneous respectively. As per the experts, the questions were easy in reasoning ability questions. Candidates who solved 30-32 questions with accuracy can start preparing for IBPS RRB mains exam. In the seating arrangements, questions were based on following arrangements such as square seating arrangement , linear north facing and south in one line.
Quantitative Aptitude
Questions that were asked in the data interpretation section, in the word problems there were 15 questions, for number series there were five questions, there were 5 questions related to the inequality. According to IBPS RRB 2020 Shift 1 exam analysis, some of the experts are of the view that the overall the exam was relatively okay and if the candidates have attempted 70 questions correctly then they can confidently see their way to the mains exam
Feedback:
According to the students who appeared for the entrance some of the options of the questions that were asked in the entrance exam were confusing.
According to the experts, candidates who have answered correctly at least 60 plus questions in the IBPS RRB 2020 prelims exam for Officers Scale 1, they have a good chance of qualifying for the mains exam.
Shift 2
IBPS RRB recruitment 2020 exam for Shift - II conducted successfully. As per the feedback we got from students, both the reasoning and quantitative aptitude section are easy to moderate level. The good attempts for this shift are also 30-35 and 28-32 in reasoning and quantitative aptitude respectively. One problem that most of the candidates faced is that the questions in both the Hindi and English language are on the same page so they have had to scroll for the questions. This is little time consuming for aspirants.

As per the feedback by students from IBPS RRB 2020 exam centre, there were 4 questions from puzzles, 5 questions from inequality in the reasoning section. Talking about quantitative aptitude in IBPS RRB 2020 exam, there were 12 - 15 questions from data interpretation. The questions from inequality and number-series are easy. In this shift, questions from word problems were moderate level.

There will be 40 questions asked in the reasoning section of IBPS RRB exam.

In reasoning section 20-22 and and in the quantitative section a score of 15-20 can be considered to be the cutoff bringing the overall cutoff score to be 65-70 out of 80.The 2019 cutoff for RRB clerk prelims in Tamilnadu was 68.

Candidates who are appearing in qualifying exam are not eligible here. You may have to appear next year if you want to appear in IBPS RRB.
