Identify the correct use of word in sentences
In this section, most of the questions were based on Banking and Current Affairs. In current affairs, candidates were asked questions related to news events from the last five months and most of the questions were asked from July and August. Around 7 to 8 questions were based on banking awareness and static GK. The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate.
In computer knowledge candidates were asked questions based on shortcut keys, abbreviations, basic protocols of the internet, networking and basics of computer software. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy.
Today was the first day of the IBPS RRB Officer Scale - I Preliminary Exam 2018. Spanning a period of one week (ending August 18, 2018), the exam is being conducted in four-time slots: 2 each in morning and evening.
A total of 80 questions had to be answered in 45 minutes. It comprised only two sections i.e. Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude and both were available in English and Hindi. Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while every incorrect answer will reduce the score by 0.25.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam. NIMCET admit card will also be released to be downloaded by candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result of the same will be declared on the official website of NIMCET 2020.
Total 809 seats are available and duration of exam is 2 hours.
NOTE:- NIMCET scores are used by many other universities and institutes for admissions to the MCA programmes offered by them.

ipbs has released the notifications for filling the vacancies in rrb for posts if both groupA officer's posts (scale 1,2 and 3) as well as groupB office assistant posts.
The dates for registration are from 18th June 2019 onwards.
One can apply for both these posts of officer as well as office assistant because dates of exams are different for both so one can easily appear in the exams for both the groups.
But, in case of groupA officer's posts one can only choose any one grade scale from 1,2or3, and not for all the scales at a single time.
So ultimately, yes you can apply both for the posts of group A officer's posts as well as for posts of group B assistant officer.
But you have to register separately by paying separate fees for both the post's exams.
There are 3 factors that majorly determine your ranking in the exam - the total number of applicants for the exam, the total number of vacancies available for the exam and the difficulty level of the exam. Since the results for this year’s exam will be out by January end, for your reference, the expected overall cutoff for hearing handicap category, based kn pervious years’ cutoff is 37. The actual cutoff maybe around this figure.
The expected range of the cutoff for Final Selection for your category is 25.5(minimum scores) to 40.4 (maximum scores).
