WBCS Exam Pattern 2023 - The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) prescribed the WBCS 2023 exam pattern for all the three stages of the exam in the official notification released online on February 25 on the official website - wbpsc.gov.in. The WB Civil Service 2023 exam will be conducted for Group A and B posts in the state of West Bengal.
The exam pattern and difficulty level is same for all the posts notified by the Commission in the WBCS notification 2023. As per the official notification, the WBCS exam has three stages - prelims, mains and interview. The WBCS 2023 exam pattern helps applicants to know about the mode of examination, marking scheme of each stage, number of questions asked in prelims and mains exam, and more. As mentioned above the WBCS exam has three stages - prelims, mains and interview. Both the WBCS written exams i.e. prelims and mains are conducted in offline mode. The WBCS prelims exam has eight sections. The WBCS prelims exam is of 200 marks in which 200 questions are asked from subjects like history, polity, current affairs, geography and more. The WBCS mains exam is also conducted in offline mode. Like the WBCS prelims, not all the mains exam papers are objective in nature. The mains WBCS 2023 exam pattern has eight papers in total of different subjects. Each paper is of 200 marks, which has to be completed in 3 hours. The WBCS mains exam pattern is 1600 marks in total. You have tagged WBPSC and from your profile it seems you belong to West Bengal, if this query is anyway related to West Bengal Civil Service Executive Exam then online registration hasn't commenced yet, it will start from tomorrow, ie..24th December and last date is 15th January, 2021. in case of other active exams such as WB Audit and Accounts Service Exam or Geological/Geo -Hydrological Assistant, you have to do one time registration and accordingly proceed ahead, if you still face any issue kindly elaborate in the comment box below.
