Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announces how many students applied in the CTET exam on the official website after announcement of the result. Almost 27 to 29 lakh candidates apply for CTET exam every year for each session. Out of which about 8 lakhs write for paper 1 and about 12 lakhs for paper 2 each session.

The date of the MAHA TET 2025 is November 23, 2025. The Teacher Eligibility Test's first paper will be administered from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, and the second test will be administered from 2:30 PM to 5 PM on the same day. Police have busted a syndicate reportedly involved in leaking the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) question paper and enabling candidates to complete the examination through illegal means in Maharashtra's Kolhapur district, officials said.
