SSC JHT Syllabus 2023 - The Staff Selection Commission prescribed the SSC JHT 2023 syllabus for both SSC JHT paper 1 and 2 at ssc.nic.in. The Staff Selection Commission JHT exam has two papers - paper 1 and paper 2. JHT paper 1 is conducted in online mode as it has multiple choice questions, whereas paper 2 is conducted in offline mode as it is descriptive in nature. SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2023

SSC Junior Hindi Translator exam pattern is prescribed by the SSC. As per the SSC JHT notification, JHT paper 1 exam is of 200 marks in total having two sections with negative markings. Paper 1 is conducted in offline mode. Whereas SSC JHT paper 2 is of 200 marks in which questions asked are of descriptive nature and is conducted in offline mode. The eligibility criteria for SSC JHT exam 2022 is as follows :

1. the candidate must not be over 30 years of age. 30 years is the maximum age limit.

II. The candidate must have the following educational qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in English with Hindi or vice versa as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level

  • Or master’s degree in any subject, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects or medium of examination

  • Or master’s degree in any subject, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or with one as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject.

Hope you are doing great.As you have completed your graduation and pg diploma in translation ,now you are eligible for SSC jht examination.SSC JHT exam requires masters in hindi or english or diploma that you have done .If you have not finished your masters then no problem because you have your 2 year diploma that is enough to be appear for exam.

see as per 2020 ssc jht notifications, below mentioned post are available for candidates through ssc jht;

A. Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official

B. Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board

C.  Junior Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters

D. Junior Translator (JT)/Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)

E.  Senior Hindi Translator in various Central

HOWEVER as per the notifications , this is not compulsory to have one english and one hindi in masters degree. candidates who has completed masters course in hindi with english as compulsory subject or have studied in english medium on degree level are eligible to apply. or candidates who has completed masters course in english  with hindi as compulsory subject or have studied in hindi medium on degree level are eligible to apply.

or

Masters Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level

and

Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

The educational qualification depends on the Post code that you want to apply for. For Post codes A to D, you need to have Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or you can also have a Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject. For Post Code E, you need to recognised Diploma or certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. So you need to either study in English medium and have Hindi as a language or vice versa.

The eligibility depends on the post you are applying. For Post A to D you must have Master degree in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective or vice versa or Masters degree in any other subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as compulsory certificate or vice versa and you must have two years experience in translating Hindi to English or vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking and must have recognized diploma or certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. For post E you need three years experience and recognized diploma or certificate along with Masters degree in Hindi or English. For Post F Bachelor's or Master's in Hindi or English  with Hindi or English as compulsory or elective subject.

If you have required experience and have studied English subject you are eligible for it.
