UPSC Civil Services Exam 2014 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting UPSC Civil Services Mains 2014 Exam in a six-day window beginning from December 14, 2014 - December 20, 2014. UPSC has notified as many as 1291 vacancies in civil services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B).UPSC conducted preliminary exam for UPSC Civil Services on August 24.The civil services exam will be conducted for total of 1291 vacancies. Out of the total vacancies, 26 vacancies are reserved for Physically Handicapped Category. The 26 reserved seats are further divided as following- 12 vacancies for LDCP, 2 Vacancies for B/LV and 12 Vacancies for HI.

UPSC Civil Services 2014 Application Form – Civil Dervices Mains 2014 Exam Application Form is available from October 28, 2014 till November 11, 2014. Candidates who have qualified UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2014 Exam are eligible for applying.Application forms for Civil Services Exam 2014 were available online since May 31. The last date for receipt of application was June 30.
UPSC Civil Services 2014 Eligibility Criteria – The candidate must be a citizen of India, and must hold a bachelors degree of any recognized University or an equivalent qualification. He/she should be aged between 21 years to 32 years as on August 1, 2014.

UPSC Civil Services 2014 Exam Pattern – UPSC Civil Services Mains exam will comprise written exam and personality test. The Mains exam will consist of written exam and personality test. The written exam will consist of -
UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam was a 4-hour Objective Type paper divided into two papers, each of two hours. Each question paper carried a maximum of 200 marks. Question papers covered topics from General Awareness, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, etc.
UPSC Civil Services 2014 Selection process – The candidates who qualify the Prelims will be called for Mains round which includes written exam and personality test. Those who qualify the Mains round will be appointed as Civil Servants.
UPSC Civil Services 2014 Admit Card – The e-Admission Certificate for Prelims is now available online for downloading. The candidates, who qualify Prelims, will be called for Mains exam, for which admit card is expected in December 2014.
UPSC Civil Services 2014 Result – The result of Prelims was declared in October 14, 2014. The result for the Mains will be announced tentatively in May/June 2015.
