IBPS PO Selection Procedure 2025

IBPS conducts the recruitment exam to recruit personnel for the post of IBPS PO. As per the IBPS PO selection procedure 2025, the recruitment exam will be conducted in three different stages. The stages are prelims, mains and interview. IBPS will release the separate IBPS PO 2025 result for each stage of examination. Check the below details of the IBPS PO selection procedure.

IBPS PO Preliminary Stage: The prelims exam is the first stage of the IBPS PO recruitment procedure. The preliminary stage is qualifying in nature. There will be multiple choice questions from three different sections that are maths, reasoning and English. The exam will be conducted in online mode and candidates have to secure marks more than or equal to the prelims cut off provided by IBPS.

IBPS PO Main Stage: The main stage of the IBPS PO is the second and one of the crucial stages. This stage is also conducted in online mode. The marks scored by the candidates at this stage will be considered as one of the major scores for the final allotment. Candidates who get qualified at this stage are required to appear in the interview round.

IBPS PO Interview: This is the final stage of the IBPS PO recruitment process. All the shortlisted candidates in the main round will be interviewed face-to-face for the IBPS PO vacancy 2025. Candidates are required to appear in front of an interview panel consisting of three to four members. The final allotment will be based on the marks secured in the main and interview round.

IBPS PO Salary 2025

The IBPS PO salary is one of a major fascination for the applicants. As per the salary of IBPS PO 2025, employees will be paid on the basic pay scale of Rs 23,700. Along with the IBPS PO salary, other allowances will also be provided.

IBPS PO eligibility criteria for PWD category - According to the government of india norms, people with benchmark disability are eligible for reservation under section -34 of "The Rights of person with disabilities act ,2016" and the categories of disabilities eligible for reservation as per the act are mentioned below-

1.Deaf and hard of hearing.

2.Blindness and low vision.

3.Mental illness, autism, specific learning disability, intellectual disability and locomotor disability which includes palsy ,dwarfism, muscular dystrophy and acid attack victims.

4.People having benchmark disabilities will be assigned with the reserved vacancies as per the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016".

The age of candidates wishing to appear in SBI/IBPS PO should be between 21 to 30 years as of April 1, 2022. For example, for SBI/IBPS PO, the official advertisement said that candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2000 and not earlier than 02.04.1991. However, there is also a provision for age relaxation for certain categories of aspirants which are as follows-

  • SC/ST- 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)- 3 years
  • PWD (SC/ ST)- 15 years
  • PWD (OBC)- 13 years
  • PWD (Gen/ EWS)- 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen- 5 years
