The first step to fill the application form of UGC NET is Registration. In this stage candidates have to enter details like name, contact details etc. After filling the required details and clicking on submit, the system will generate a user ID and password. Candidate must save it for future use as these credentials will be required to access candidate account at later stages.

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer/EWS
The payment of the application fee can be made in both offline and online mode via SBI_MOPS (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking, e-challan). For Payment through E-Challan, candidates have to download the e-challan and submit the challan and fee at the nearest State Bank of India Branch.
After the payment of the application form, a confirmation slip will be generated. Candidates will have to get at least four print outs of the confirmation slip.

Yes, MBA graduates are completely eligible for the NTA UGC or the NET examination. If you are a general category candidate, you will need a score of 55% or more in your graduation or equivalent degree to appear for the exam. For the reserved categories, the cut off criteria is 50% marks.
If EWS option is available then please go for it but condition is that you must be eligible for EWS certificate (if you have not applied till now).
If you have not applied for EWS certificate then please apply for it but please check all the qualifications for the eligibility.
B.tech students are not eligible for the UGC NET Exam. They must be
