UP PCS Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Service (UP PSC) has released the UP PCS 2019 eligibility criteria along with the notification on October 16, 2019. UP PCS eligibility criteria 2019 has been released for candidates aspiring to appear for Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services examination and for Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F)/Range Forest Officer (R.F.O) Services exam. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of UP PCS before applying. UP PCS has released the official notification on October 16, 2019. Aspirants can start applying from October 16, 2019 and the last date for registration is November 13, 2019. The admit cards will approximately released 3 weeks after the last date for registration. UP PCS written examinations will be held in 2 stages - prelims and mains.

UP PCS 2019 eligibility criteria has the below standards for the age as on July 1, 2019.

General/OBC Category

  • Minimum age requirement to apply for UP PCS examinations is 21 years.

  • Candidates above 40 years are not eligible

Physically Handicapped

The age limit is extended to 55 years for physically handicapped candidates.

Educational Qualification
As per UP PCS 2019 Eligibility Criteria, the candidates who are willing to appear for Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized organization.

Graduate in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. and A.H.) or

equivalent degree recognised by the Government.

Marital status:
Eligibility criteria of UP PCS 2019 has below marital status requirements for the candidates who are willing to appear for the examination.

  • Male candidates who are married more than one woman are not eligible.

  • Female candidates married to a man who is married to more than one woman are not eligible.

Emergency commissioned/ Short service commissioned officers:

As per UP PCS 2019 Eligibility criteria, Emergency commissioned/ Short service commissioned officers can apply even if they’re still serving their period in forces or extended for rehabilitation under below circumstances:

  • Candidates should produce the documents from Army/Navy/ Air Force, stating their extension.

  • Candidates should produce a written document saying that they can be released from the forces immediately if they get shortlisted in the post they’re appearing.

  • Candidates who have been dispersed from the military due to the misconduct or physical incapability are not eligible.

Walking test
Candidates with above Physical standards has to pass the the walking test to get the eligibility for the positions of Assistant Conservator of Forest and Range Forest Officer. Below are the conditions for the walking test as per UP PCS eligibility criteria 2019.

  • Male candidates has to finish 25 km walking within 4 hours.

  • Female candidates has to finish 14 km walking within 4 hours.
