UGC NET Admit Card 2018 – National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release UGC NET admit card for December session on November 19. Registered candidates can download the admit card of UGC NET 2018 in online mode till December 23. In order to download UGC NET admit card 2018, candidates have to enter their application number, password and security pin. Candidates must download their UGC NET admit card, as it is not sent to anyone by post or any other means. UGC NET 2018 admit card is an essential document and candidates must not forget to carry it to the examination centre on the exam day. UGC NET 2018 December session will be held in online mode from December 9 to 23.
UGC NET or University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is conducted annually for determining the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Till July 2018, the exam would be conducted by CBSE, however, now the exam will be held by National Testing Agency (NTA) from December 2018 onwards.

How to download the admit card of UGC NET 2018?
Go to the admit card link (The link will be available later)
Enter your login credentials (registration ID and password)
Admit card will appear on screen
Click on the download button
In case, candidates are not able to download their admit card or find any discrepancy in the admit card they can contact on the helpline number from November 19 to 25, 2018 between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Recovering UGC NET 2018 Registration Number and Password
In case candidates lose or forget their registration number and password, there is nothing to worry about. Just follow the below-given steps.
How to recover registration number and password?
Click on “Forgot Registration Number” button
Click on the option you want to go to (Login for Admit Card)
Go to the “I can't access my account”
Two options will pop – i. “I forgot my password” and ii. “I forgot my application number or roll number”
To recover registration number:
Choose “I forgot my application number or roll number” option
Now you will have to enter candidate's name, mother's name, father's name, date of birth, security pin (case sensitive, auto-generated pin displayed at the bottom of the page) as entered in the application form.
Click on “submit” after filling the information to get your registration number.
To recover your password:
Click on “I forgot my password” option
Three options will be shown – 1. “Using Security Question & its Answer you have chosen during application filling”, 2. “Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile Number” and, 3. “Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address”.
Click on one of the options to reset or retrieve the password

Candidates have to carry one of the below mentioned colored photo identity proof along with the admit card:
- Ration Card
- Passport size photograph (same as on UGC NET application form 2018)
- Candidates belonging to PwD category must carry PwD certificate along with UGC NET admit card 2018
General Instructions related to UGC NET Admit Card 2018
Possessing the admit card of UGC NET means provisional candidature.
Just the fact that the admit card has been issued and the applicant is allowed to appear for the test does not imply that the Board has finally accepted his/her candidature.
Admit card will be available online and will not be sent to candidates by post.
The candidates are requested to ascertain their venue of the test mentioned in the admit card and appear in the examination only at the designated examination center.
Candidates will not be allowed in the exam centre without the admit card and a photo ID.
As per the exam pattern, UGC NET 2018 will be held in computer-based mode. The question papers are bilingual. There are two papers for UGC NET 2018. Paper I has 50 questions of 2 marks each, which makes it a total of 100 marks. There are 100 questions in paper II. Each question is of 2 marks, making it a total of 200 marks. Questions in paper II are based on the subjects opted by the candidates. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in both the papers.
