UGC NET Admit Card 2018 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released UGC NET admit card on June 21. Registered candidates can download the admit card of UGC NET 2018 in online mode till July 8. In order to download UGC NET admit card 2018, candidates have to enter their application number, password and security pin. Candidates must download their UGC NET admit card, as it is not sent to anyone by post or any other means. UGC NET 2018 admit card is an essential document and candidates must not forget to carry it to the examination centre on the exam day. UGC NET 2018 is being conducted on July 8, 2018.
UGC NET or University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is conducted annually by CBSE for determining the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). However, now the exam will be held by National Testing Agency (NTA) from December 2018 onwards.

Recovering UGC NET 2018 Registration Number and Password
In case candidates lose or forget their registration number and password, there is nothing to worry about. Just follow the below-given steps.
How to recover registration number and password?
Click on “Forgot Registration Number” button
Click on the option you want to go to (Login for Admit Card)
Go to the “I can't access my account”
Two options will pop – i. “I forgot my password” and ii. “I forgot my application number or roll number”
To recover registration number:
Choose “I forgot my application number or roll number” option
Now you will have to enter candidate's name, mother's name, father's name, date of birth, security pin (case sensitive, auto-generated pin displayed at the bottom of the page) as entered in the application form.
Click on “submit” after filling the information to get your registration number.
To recover your password:
Click on “I forgot my password” option
Three options will be shown – 1. “Using Security Question & its Answer you have chosen during application filling”, 2. “Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile Number” and, 3. “Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address”.
Click on one of the options to reset or retrieve the password

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2018
As per the exam pattern, UGC NET 2018 is being held in offline mode. The question papers are bilingual. OMR sheets is provided for marking answers. There are two papers for UGC NET 2018. Paper I has 50 questions of 2 marks each, which makes it a total of 100 marks. There are 100 questions in paper II. Each question is of 2 marks, making it a total of 200 marks. Questions in paper II are based on the subjects opted by the candidates. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in both the papers.
