IBPS SO cut off for the mains exam will be determined by the exam conducting authority to shortlist candidates over 3 times the number of vacancies for the next stage – interview of the exam. IBPS SO cutoff 2018 is the barometer to filter the deserving candidates to enter the next level of the recruitment exam. It must be noted that the call letters will be issued to only those candidates (for appearing in the next level of the exam) who secure the cut off of IBPS SO 2018 in the preceding exam stage. While calculating the IBPS SO cutoff, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) adopts the below-given process.
Scores: The corrected scores secured by the candidates in different sessions (if held) are normalised with the use of the equipercentile method. It must be noted that scores up to two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculation.
A total of 100 marks are allotted for the interview. Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% for unreserved or General Category, while the minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates are 35%. The combined final score of the candidates is calculated by giving 80% weightage to the online mains exam marks and 20% weightage to the marks scored in the interview. Candidates have to qualify in both the IBPS SO 2018 online mains exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent allotment process.
Cut off Score: Each candidate will be required to secure the minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score, as explained below. Only then the candidates will be considered for shortlisting for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies, IBPS SO cut off will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Before the completion of the interview procedure, scores secured in the online exam will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
Means – 3/4th of standard deviation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories
Mean – 1/4th of standard deviation for General Category

IBPS SO Cut off Score for Provisional Allotment
The provisional cutoff of IBPS SO is the marks at which the allotment for the recruitment of Specialist Officers post ends. Thus, candidates must secure this IBPS SO provisional cut off marks to be able to secure their place in the recruitment process as per the post they have applied for. NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.
This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
