The exam is conducted for two papers – paper I and II wherein paper I will be held for 100 marks while paper II will be held for a total of 200 marks. Yes every state government EWS Certificate is considered in UGC Net. EWS certificate is the certificate for Economically Weaker Section of General Category. This certificate have a criteria that your annual income should be less then 8 lacs per annum. You should not hae big land area and properties. This certificate is not for SC/ST/OBC. So state does not matter for any of the exam in EWS category.
