Candidates who qualify for the exam will get a gross IBPS PO salary of Rs. 57,289.70. It is mandatory to secure the IBPS PO 2026 cut off at each stage to get qualified.     Selection Process of IBPS PO 2026 Preliminary Exam

    The IBPS PO 2026 prelims exam is the first stage of the IBPS PO selection process. Candidates need to secure the IBPS PO prelims cut off 2026 to pass at this stage. There will be 100 questions from three different sections: quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, and English language. Students need to solve multiple-choice questions in one hour.

    Selection Process of IBPS PO 2026 Exam Main Stage

    IBPS PO 2026 main exam is the second stage of the IBPS PO selection process. Those who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the IBPS PO main exam 2026. As per the IBPS PO exam pattern 2026, candidates need to solve both the multiple-choice and descriptive type questions from four different sections that are English language, data interpretation and analysis, reasoning and computer awareness, general/ banking, and economic awareness. The descriptive paper has only 2 questions, i.e. essay and letter writing. It will carry 25 marks and 30 minutes to attempt the section.

    IBPS PO 2026 Selection Process - Interview

    According to the IBPS PO selection process 2026, the IBPS PO interview is the third and final round. Candidates are advised to keep themselves aware of all the current affairs to pass this stage. The interview round will carry 100 marks in total and will be conducted in offline mode, that is, face-to-face interaction with the candidates. Applicants need to have good communication skills

    IBPS PO Final Merit List

    The authorities will issue the final merit list after all of the tests in the IBPS PO selection process have been completed. The final merit list for IBPS PO will be compiled based on the candidates' performance in the mains and interview rounds. Following that, all candidates whose names appear on the final merit list will be sent an appointment letter with the day, time, and branch for joining.

    IBPS PO Provisional Allotment 2026

    Candidates qualifying all the stages of the common recruitment process for IBPS PO and fulfilling the eligibility criteria in all aspects will be provisionally allotted in participating banks.

    • Shortlisted candidates will be provisionally assigned to vacancies reported by participating organisations based on merit-cum-preference.

    • Tie Breaking: If two or more candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be ranked higher than the younger candidate.

    • While making the allotment, the Government of India's reservation policy and other rules and regulations, as well as administrative necessities, shall be observed.

    • The provisional allotment is contingent on the candidate meeting the participating organisation criteria and having their identity verified to the satisfaction of the assigned organisation.

    • No requests for changes will be considered because the provisional distribution is provided to participating organisations based on merit cum desire.

    • Furthermore, if a candidate who has been provisionally assigned does not accept the Participating Organisation's offer of employment, his candidature will be cancelled.

    • The participating organisations' decision to issue an offer of appointment, including terms and conditions, requirements for verification, joining, and so on, is final and binding.

    • Depending on candidate availability, a reserve list of up to 10% of the openings in each category may be created.
