Important Dates for UGC NET Exam 2027

UGC NET Notification 2027

The exam conducting authority is about to release the UGC NET 2027 notification on the official website. Aspirants are recommended to read the UGC NET notification, including details regarding the eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, and many more, before planning to appear for the exam. UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2027

The commission provides the UGC NET 2027 eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of UGC NET will be eligible to apply for the exam. All the specifications regarding the UGC NET eligibility criteria are determined in the official notification by the NTA. Breakdown of UGC NET Eligibility Criteria

• General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions

• JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01st day of the month in which the examination is concludedi.e. 01.12.2025.

• There is no upper age limit for applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.

• There is no upper age limit for applying for UGC-NET for Admission to PhD.

UGC NET Application Form 2027

All the applicants must read carefully the instructions mentioned in the official notification before filling out the UGC NET 2027 application form. While filling out the application form of UGC NET, the exam authority also specifies the fee payment details, and not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified.

Candidates must note that the NTA does not edit/modify/alter any information entered in the UGC NET application form under any circumstances. Any request for a change in information after submission of the UGC NET application form 2027 will not be entertained.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2027

National Testing Agency prescribes the UGC NET 2027 exam pattern in the official notification. The UGC NET exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode only.

The UGC NET exam pattern will comprise two sections, both of which will consist of objective-type questions with four options.

Candidates must be cautious of exam timings, because once the UGC NET exam has commenced, there will be no break between the papers. The exam pattern of UGC NET is designed into two sections to assess the candidates' aptitude for teaching and research, and in-depth knowledge of the subject chosen.

UGC NET Admit Card 2027

The NTA will soon release the UGC NET 2027 admit card on the official website. Candidates who successfully filled the application form can download the UGC NET admit card after logging in with the necessary credentials, that is, registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. Interested candidates can follow the steps below to download the admit card of UGC NET.

Steps to download the UGC NET Admit Card

• Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ nta.ac.in

• On the homepage, the “UGC NET admit card link” will be displayed

• Click on the UGC NET admit card link, and then a new screen will be displayed showing the login details.

• Enter your login credentials, such as application number, date of birth, and security pin

• Click on the submit button

• The UGC NET admit card 2027 will be displayed in new screen.

• Download and save the admit card of UGC NET for the exam day.

UGC NET Answer Key 2027

The exam authority will display the UGC NET 2027 answer key along with the question paper attempted by the candidate on the official website. The UGC NET answer key shall be displayed within two or three days after the commencement of the exam.

Additionally, the NTA will be providing the opportunity for candidates to challenge the answer key of UGC NET if any discrepancies are found. Those who want to challenge the UGC NET answer key have to pay a certain amount of fee and should raise objections within the stipulated time period.

The medium of the UGC NET 2027 question paper shall be in English and Hindi only.
