after graduation do class 12 marks matter in defence exam(afcat, cds, inet) please tell..
Hi,
For AFCAT, there is no such requirement of an overall percentage but you must have scored above 60% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics individually.
When it comes to CDS, there is no lower limit for your score in 12th grade but you must have Mathematics and Physics as subjects at 10 + 2 level.
For INET, candidates need to have a score of 60% in their 10th and 12th grade examinations to be able to apply for the exam.
Hope this cleared your doubt.
I have 53% in pcm class 12 and 65% overall am I eligible for afcat
For the AFCAT flying branch, the eligibility suggest that the student need to pass 10+2 with 60% in Physics and Mathematics and also needs to complete there BE/BTech in any discipline.
For the AFCAT Ground Duty Technical Branch, the eligibility is also the same as the Flying branch or,
So if you don't have 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics you won't be eligible for the AFCAT.
