SSC CHSL 2019

SSC CHSLSSC CHSL 2019 – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release notification for SSC CHSL on January 19, 2019. SSC CHSL application form 2019 will be available from January 19 to February 18, 2019. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be between 18 to 27 years and have completed Class 12/HSC. SSC CHSL 2019 recruitment exam will be conducted in three stages – Tier I, II and III. The exam dates of SSC CHSL has not been announced yet.

SSC conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam for recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. Approximately, 4000 vacancies are expected to be announced by SSC. In 2017, total 6406623 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 3055208 candidates had qualified the Tier I. SSC CHSL Eligibility 2019

 

The candidate appearing for SSC CHSL must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

 

Nationality:

  • Candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2019 must be citizen of India

  • Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugee are also eligible subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mandated by Government of India

Age Limit:

  • Maximum: 27 years

  • Minimum: 18 years

Educational qualification:

  • Must have passed 10+2/HSC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

SSC CHSL Application Form 2019

 

The application form for SSC CHSL will be available from January 19 to February 18, 2019. Applicants have fill their SSC CHSL application form online. Fee can be paid both online and offline which is Rs. 100 for general and OBC male candidates while female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fee payment. The steps to fill SSC CHSL 2019 application form are given below.

 

How to apply for SSC CHSL 2019?

  • The application form of SSC CHSL is filled in two parts - Part I and II.

  • In Part I, candidates have to fill their basic details.

  • In Part II of SSC CHSL application form, candidates have to pay the requisite application fees.

SSC CHSL Admit Card 2019

 

The admit card of SSC CHSL will be released in three stages - Tier I, Tier II and Tier III. First, the admit card for tier I will be released. The admit card for Tier II will be released for candidates who qualifies the Tier I. SSC CHSL admit card 2019 for Tier III will be released for appearing in skill test/typing test. The admit card of all the stages will be made available region-wise. Candidates have to enter their roll number/registration number and date of birth to download the admit card. Details like name of candidate, roll number, examination date, timing and slots, examination centre address, exam day guideline and instructions will be mentioned in SSC CHSL admit card.

 

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019

 

The exam pattern of SSC CHSL provides details like marking scheme, total number of questions, time duration and number of sections. According to SSC CHSL exam pattern 2019, Tier 1 was conducted in computer based mode. The question booklet carried objective type questions. There were four sections in Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL - General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. SSC CHSL Tier 2 is a descriptive test that assesses a candidate’s writing skill. The Tier 3 exam of SSC CHSL comprises typing ability test or skill test. Tier 3 will be qualifying in nature.

SSC CHSL 2019 Exam Day Guidelines:

  • The candidates must write the papers/ indicate the answers in their own handwriting.

  • The candidates appearing in SSC CHSL must bring three passport size colour photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate in the presence of Invigilator, which they have uploaded in the online application form for easy identification.

  • Candidates not carrying photographs will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

  • Use of mobile phone, calculator and other electronic gadgets and accessories is not permitted.

  • The Candidates appearing in SSC CHSL exam 2019 must carry a Photo ID such as Voter’s ID, Driving License, ID Cards issued by Government or other Offices where the candidates may be working. No candidate is allowed to enter into examination hall without having any photo ID proof.

  • The candidates are advised to desist from use of any unfair method in the examination which will render them ineligible for further consideration for the examination and also lead to their debarment from Commission’s examinations in future beside inviting criminal prosecution.

     

SSC CHSL Answer key 2019

 

The answer key of SSC CHSL contains the correct answer to the questions asked in the exam. SSC CHSL answer key will be released online by SSC. Candidates can download the answer key by entering roll number and date of birth as password. Using SSC CHSL 2019 answer key, candidates can check the number of responses marked correctly in the exam. On the basis of correct and incorrect answer, candidates can calculate their probable score of the exam. Candidates not satisfied with the answers in SSC CHSL answer key can challenge it online. For this candidates have to pay Rs. 100 per answers.

 

SSC CHSL Result 2019

 

The results for SSC CHSL will be declared in three phases – Tier I, II and final. The result will be available online in PDF format. The marks of candidates will be released few days after the declaration of SSC CHSL result 2019. Candidates qualifying the Tier I by securing the cutoff as per their category will be shortlisted for Tier II. The qualifying percentage for Tier II is 33%. Selection for Tier III will be done based on candidates performance in Tier I and II. Candidates who qualify the skill test/typing test or Tier III will be called for document verification. Final allocation of candidates will be done depending on their merit.

 

SSC CHSL Cutoff 2019

 

Candidates have to secure the cut off score as per their category to qualify the entrance exam. SSC CHSL releases the cut off score at the time announcement of result. The cut off score is the minimum qualifying marks the candidates must secure in order to become eligible for next stage of selection procedure. There are sectional cutoff, category-wise cutoff and the overall cutoff for SSC CHSL 2019.

The SSC CHSL Tier 3 is the Skill Test / Typing Test which is conducted for the candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of tier 1 and tier 2 exam. The marks secured in SSC CHSL 2019 Tier I & II will be only considered for preparing merit list.

 

Data Entry Operator - Minimum speed required is 8,000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour on computer.

Typing Test - Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute (as per news source).

 

SSC CHSL Selection Procedure 2019

 

SSC CHSL examination is conducted in three phases. First, candidates have to appear for Tier 1 computer based exam. Second, selected candidates of Tier 1 will appear for Tier 2 descriptive paper. Third, candidates shortlisted based on Tier 1 and 2 will appear for Tier 3 exam which is skill test or typing test. The merit list for allotment will be prepared on the basis of Tier 1 and 2 provided they qualify Tier 3.
