UPSC ESE Application Form 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC ESE 2020 application form on September 25, 2019 in online mode at upsc.gov.in. Candidates will be able to fill UPSC ESE application form till October 15, 2019. Candidates will be able to withdraw submitted application forms from October 22 to 28, 2019. Filling of UPSC ESE application form 2020 is a two part process. Candidates have to register and then proceed to fill the application form. Registration ID and password will be generated after the candidates have registered for the exam. In order to fill the application form of UPSC ESE 2020, candidates will have to log in using these credentials. Candidates who have successfully filled the UPSC ESE application form 2020. will be issued admit cards. UPSC ESE prelims is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2020.

Candidates who qualify all the stages of UPSC ESE 2020 will be recruited at group A and B posts in Indian Railway, Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Skill Development Service, etc. Candidates will be appointed in these offices as engineers in the fields of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. This year the exam is being conducted for a total of 495 vacancies.

Steps to withdraw UPSC ESE Application Form 2020

Candidates will be able to withdraw the submitted application form from October 22 to 28, 2019. The steps to withdraw UPSC ESE application form are given below.

UPSC ESE 2020 Detailed Application Form (DAF)

Candidates who qualify the mains exam 2020 will have to fill the Detailed Application Form of UPSC ESE 2020 online. Candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the following documents.

  • Birth Certificate

  • Class 12th and 10th certificates

  • All the semesters of graduation/qualifying exam degree or equivalent degree certificate

  • Caste certificate for SC/ST and OBC

  • Certificate in support of claim for age/fee concession, wherever applicable

Important Instruction while filling UPSC ESE 2020 Application form

  • Candidates working in Government owned industrial undertakings/Government Service/other similar organisations or in private employment have to apply online through the procedure prescribed by the Commission.

  • Candidate must submit a single application. If a candidate submits multiple applications, it may lead to the cancellation of candidature.

  • Due to any unavoidable reason, if candidates submit more than one application, the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) will be accepted by UPSC while the fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

  • Choice of exam centre and engineering discipline must be selected carefully. As no changes will be entertained by UPSC.

  • The incomplete application form of UPSC ESE will be rejected immediately and no representation regarding this will be entertained by the commission.
