How To Start My GATE Preparation in my first year of college.... I have taken just admission in college ... suggest me what should I do from begging.....
Hey Fresher!!
First of all Congratulations on Taking Admission in the College and Good Wishes for the Future too.
The way you have asked shows that, You are taking panic about the GATE Exam. According to my suggestion, just be calm and enjoy your college life but give proper timings to your studies too.
In the first year, you don't have to give much input and it passes like the best memories ever. But from Second year, You have to give input and study better to get the basics of the machines and the technology used.
Don't start feeling too free also, such that you left the preparation of GATE Exam but in first year, you can just start the learning of basics on your own.
Try to get connect with those professors and students who have a lot of experience and they can help you in achieving your goal. Their ideas will surely motivate you and will help you a lot for sure.
Many people say a lot about the difficulty of the exam but try to avoid them, and fully concentrate on your self-study. That will for sure help you and give you the better results also.
Contact with your professors and other faculty members also, but I am suggesting some books for the GATE preparations, which will surely help you:
1.) Mechanical Vibration By GK Grover
2.) Fluid Mechanics By RK Bansal
3.) Design of Machine Elements By VB Bhandari
4.) Engineering Mechanics By SS Bhavikatti
Many more are also there and you can search for them also.
Wishes for your better future and All The Best for the upcoming challenges...
Hope that my answer helped you.
