CDS Exam Centres 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has mentioned CDS 2020 exam centres in its official notification on October 30. The exam centres of CDS 2020 includes the list of states and cities where the exam will be conducted. Candidates must check CDS exam centres 2020 before applying for the examination. The exam conducting authorities have released a list of 41 cities for CDS 2020 exam centres across the country where exam will be held. Candidates have to enter three exam centre of CDS 2020 as per their choices while filling the application form. The exam centres are allotted on a ‘first apply, first allot’ basis so candidates must apply for CDS exam on priority basis. CDS 2020 (I) exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on February 2. Candidates who wish to pursue their career as commissioned officers in Indian Navy, Air Force and Army should qualify the exam.

CDS 2020 Exam Centres Important Information

  • Candidates cannot change their allotted CDS exam centre 2020 under any circumstances.

  • Candidates can find name, address, and code of their allotted exam centre printed on the CDS admit card 2020.

  • Applicants must note that there is a limit on the number of candidates allotted to each of the CDS 2020 exam centres except Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur.

  • Candidates should fill CDS application form 2020 early to get exam centres of their preference.

  • Candidates are required to report at the allotted CDS exam centre 2020 on the exam day on the specified time

  • Candidates have to report early to CDS 2020 exam centres prior to one hour of commencement of the exam.

  • Allotment of CDS exam centres 2020 has been done on 'first apply, first allot' basis, based on the capacity of a particular centre, once the capacity is full, the candidates have been allotted other exam centres as per their second and third preferences.

Given below is a list of things that candidates can carry inside the examination hall of CDS I 2020.

  • Clipboard/ Hardboard (with nothing written on it)

  • Black ball point pen to mark responses in the OMR sheet

Items Not Permitted Inside CDS I 2020 Exam Hall

List of things that candidates are not allowed in the exam halls of CDS II is given below.

  • Books

  • Notes

  • Loose sheets

  • Electronic or any other calculators

  • Mathematical and drawing instruments

  • Log tables

  • Stencils of maps

  • Slide rules

  • Test booklets

  • Rough sheets from earlier sessions

  • Electronics like mobile phones, bluetooth, pagers or any other communication devices

CDS Admit Card 2020

Exam conducting authorities had issued the admit card of CDS I 2020 on January 9 in online mode to candidates who had successfully filled the application form. As per CDS exam dates applicants have to appear for the exam in offline mode. Candidates had to login using their registration ID and date of birth to download their admit card. Details like name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, category, exam date, reporting time, exam centre address, etc. are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates must carry their admit card to CDS exam centres 2020 or else they will not be permitted to take the exam.

CDS Result 2020

Commission will declare the result of CDS 2020 for written and final stage of exam separately. Authorities will prepare the result as per correct CDS answer key. Applicants who qualify the CDS written exam will be invited to appear for SSB round of selection process. UPSC will prepare the final result of successful candidates who will secure CDS cut off marks as per merit list.

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible to appear in CDS. But you are only eligible to join Indian Military Academy(IMA), Airforce Academy(AFA), officer's training academy(OTA) as the eligibility criteria to join in any of these academy is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree.For Indian Naval Academy a candidate must have passed bachelor's in Engineering.

What was cds cut off in 2018 and how to prepare for it ???What about the exams held after first written exam??

The cutoff * (aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate) for CDS 2018 written exam are the following:

CDS - I

  1. IMA - 118
  2. INA - 98
  3. SFA - 138
  4. OTA (Men) - 69
  5. OTA (Women) - 69

CDS - II

  1. IMA - 116
  2. INA - 102

* Given the candidate has minimum 20% marks in each subject

After clearing the written exam, the candidates have to appear in the SSB interview, upon clearing which they shall be selected on the basis of the final merit list.

if i do graduation in art stream through distance education is it valid for cds exam

Hello dear student !

CDS , that it , combined defense services is an All India level examination which is conducted twice a year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) . If you have done graduation in Art stream through distance education, then also you can appear in the CDS examination as there is no such rule for them and they are also eligible for the same.

graduation grom distance is valid for cds exam

Doing a graduation from distance mode is no problem for applying to CDS provided the university or college you are doing it from is affiliated and recognized. Provided you clear all the eligibility criteria provided by CDS like age and stream, it won't matter if it is done by distance mode or not

If you are asking about the subjects , the questions of which are asked in the CDS examination then , CDS exam pattern for the written examination for admission to India Naval academy, Indian military Academy and Air force academy will include three main subjects which are Elementary mathematics, General knowledge and English . So you have to prepare accordingly.
