  • The link redirects to a new page

  • Candidates have to select ‘Click Here for new registration’ to register online.

  • For registration, candidates have to enter basic details such as name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number and academic details among others

  • A provisional user ID and password is generated and displayed on the screen after filling the details in RBI Grade B application form 2019.

  • Applicants should note down the registration id and password must be noted down as it is required to fill the remaining part of RBI Grade B application form 2019.

Step 2: Upload scanned Photograph and Signature

  • The second step of RBI Officer Grade B application form is to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the online application form.

  • Candidates need to enter educational qualifications (graduation, Intermediate, etc), domicile, category, nationality, state, details if appeared earlier in RBI Officer Grade B or not in the third part of RBI Grade B application form 2019.

Step 6: RBI Grade B Officer application fees

  • After successful submission of the RBI Grade B application form 2019, candidates are redirected to a new page for payment of application fees

  • Pay the requisite fee/intimation charges through the online mode only

  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), credit cards, Internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets.

  • Post the payment of RBI Grade B application form 2019, candidates have to wait for the intimation from the server.

  • On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated

Answer:

After successful registration of RBI Officer Grade B, the registration number is displayed after clicking the Submit Button indicating the generated "Registration no" and "Password”. Candidates must note down the same carefully and preserve it.

Question: How do I re-confirm that my application is saved?

Answer:

In case of doubt about the successful registration, candidates are advised to visit the page for reprint of Application/e-receipt to generate the printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy (printout) of RBI Grade B application form 2019.

RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment 2018: Eligibility Criteria


1. Nationality: The candidates who wish to apply for this exam must be either-


A citizen of India

A subject of Nepal or Bhutan

Tibetan Refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.


Note: Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.


2. Age Limits:


The minimum age limit to apply for this exam is 21 years, whereas the upper age limit is 30 years. For candidates with M.Phil. Degree, the upper age limit is 32 years and for candidates holding Ph.D. Degree, it is 34 years.


Age Relaxation:


For SC/ST – 5years


For OBC –3 years


For Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Employee of Banking Institutions –5 years


3. Minimum Educational Qualification:


For Officers in Gr B (DR) General: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade along with 60% marks or equivalent in 12th and 10th standard. The minimum percentage is the total of all the marks obtained in all the semesters.


For Officers in Gr B (DR) DEPR: A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance with a minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). The minimum percentage is the total of all the marks obtained in all the semesters.


Candidates having Master’s Degree along with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/Institute will be eligible for upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of three years.


For Officers in Gr B (DR) DSIM:


(a) A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate of all the semesters; OR


(b) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters/years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed institute; OR


(c) M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters/years; OR


(d) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters/years.


Candidates having Master’s Degree along with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/ Institute will be eligible for upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of three years.

Eligibility for the exam is:

You nationality should be either Citizen of India or you are a subject of nepal or bhutan or Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or you are person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.


Minimum age should be 21 and maximum 30 for general category. However, Maximum age limit for M.Phil. qualification is 32 years and for P.hd 34.

  • Phase 1- Objective- 200 MCQs- 120 minutes- English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning
  • Phase 2 is a Combination of Objective and Descriptive papers. Paper 1 - Economic and Social Issues is objective, Paper 2 -English (Writing Skills) is descriptive and Paper 3 -Finance and Management is objective in nature.
