Nationality - The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates who has passed Class 12 from a recognized university are eligible. For the role of Data Entry Operators (DEO) in specific departments like C&AG, a Science stream 12th with Mathematics as a subject is required.
Age - Candidates must be between the age of 18 -27 years. However, there is a certain age relaxation for certain categories.

The SSC CHSL registration process 2025 for the exam starts with filling out the application form. The SSC CHSL exam consists of 2 tiers. The Tier 1 of the SSC CHSL exam pattern 2025 is a Computer based test (CBT). The candidates who clear tier 1 will be selected to appear for tier 2.
