Union Public Service Commission issued the UPSC IAS admit card 2024 to all the eligible candidates on June 7, 2024 on their official website, upsc.gov.in/upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC 2024 IAS admit card was an entry pass to write the examination. It was mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the exam to carry their admit card. The UPSC IAS exam (prelims) was conducted on June 16, 2024. UPSC IAS 2024 result is expected to be declared in the last week of June 2024 (tentative date).

  • Visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in/upsconline.nic.in.

  • On the UPSC homepage, navigate to the "E-Admit Card" section.

  • There will be two options to download the UPSC admit card: by Registration ID or by Roll Number. Choose one.

Points to note during the UPSC 2024 admit card release date -

  • The UPSC 2024 admit card can only be downloaded online and will not be sent by post.

  • Candidates who are unable to access the UPSC admit card 2024 download link must contact the commission.

  • After the UPSC admit card download 2024, any discrepancies/errors in the admit card must come to notice immediately.

  • Candidates must note that the name in the UPSC admit card is sometimes abbreviated due to technical reasons.

I assume you want to know the eligibility criteria to becoming an IAS. First of all, to become an IAS,  one has to clear UPSC CSE examiner. There are certain eligibility criteria for applying in this examination and they are as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree from any recognised college.
  • Age between 21-32; with some relaxation for reserved categories.
  • Citizen of India ora subject of Nepal/ Bhutan or Tibetan refugee who came to India, to permanently settle here before January 1, 1962, or People of Indian origin who migrated from Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
