The application form of SBI Clerk was available from April 12 to May 3, 2019, in online mode. Candidates who are between 20 to 28 years of age and have a graduation degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for SBI Clerk 2019. The exam is conducted in two phases - Preliminary and Mains followed by a test of the local language. Candidates are required to qualify in both the stages of SBI Clerk 2019 to be appointed as Junior Associate. However, the weightage is given to the score obtained by the candidate in the online main examination of SBI Clerk 2019.
SBI Clerk is held for the appointment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. SBI has released the pre-examination training admit card of SBI Clerk 2019 in online mode. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their required credentials – registration number and password/date of birth in the login window. The admit card of SBI Clerk 2019 is released separately for pre-exam training, prelims and mains exam in online mode. SBI Clerk admit card will have details related to exam centre address, name and roll number of the candidate, exam date and time, exam day instructions etc. Also, no hard copy of the SBI Clerk admit card for prelims or mains examination will be sent through the post.
After downloading the admit card, candidates must check the details mentioned on it. In case of any discrepancy like incorrect name or personal detail, they must contact the officials.
Along with the SBI Clerk admit card 2019, candidates will have to carry any one of the identity proof (Passport, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card) to the exam centre.

The recruitment procedure of SBI Clerk is done in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Local Language Test
Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and downloaded the admit card will only be able to appear for SBI Clerk prelims exam. Candidates must note that marks obtained in the prelims exam will not be added while preparation of the final merit list. As per the notification of last year, approximately 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the SBI Clerk Mains exam.
Candidates who have qualified in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for SBI Clerk mains exam. Candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the exam conducting authority to get shortlisted for final merit list. Candidates qualified in the mains exam will be placed in the merit list as per their state and category. The final selection for SBI Clerk of the candidates will be based on fulfilling the eligibility requirement and qualifying the mains and language test.
Local Language Test
Candidates who have not studied the opted language in class 10 and 12 will have to appear for this test. Whereas, candidates who have studied the opted local language in class 10 and 12 will not have to appear for the language test. Candidates who are not found to be proficient in specified opted local language will be disqualified from the selection process.
The result of SBI Clerk result is declared in two phases – Prelims and Mains in online mode. SBI will release the result of preliminary examination followed by mains exam. Candidates must note that marks secured in prelims exam will not be considered for final selection. Only the marks obtained in mains exam will be considered to prepare the final merit list and provisional allotment of candidates.
