RRB Gorakhpur ALP Cut off 2018 – Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur will announce the cut off of RRB Gorakhpur for first stage in November. Candidates who secures RRB Gorakhpur ALP cut off in the first stage as per their category will be eligible to appear for the second stage. Candidates are also required to secure the qualifying cut off prescribed by the RRBs in first stage to qualify the exam. The qualifying cut off for general category is 40 % while it is 30 % for OBC. The first stage of RRB ALP 2018 is scheduled to be conducted from August 9 to 31, 2018.
Similarly, candidates will also have to secure qualifying cut off separately in Part A and B to qualify the exam and get shortlisted for Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Document verification. Based on the RRB Gorakhpur ALP cut off 2018 of second stage, candidates for ALP posts will be selected for CBAT while for Technicians posts will be shortlisted for Document Verification. To qualify CBAT, candidates will have to secure 42 marks in each test batteries. RRB Gorakhpur ALP final allotment cut off 2018 will be determined based on candidate’s performance in Part A of second stage. However, performance of candidates in CBAT will also be taken into consideration while calculating the final allotment cutoff. RRB ALP Cut off 2018 of Gorakhpur for First Stage
The first stage of RRB ALP comprises four sections – Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. Total marks allotted for this test is 75. The standard of questions will be of class 10 or matriculation level. The score of first stage will only be considered to select candidates for the second stage CBT. Candidates 15 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the second stage. There are total 1588 vacancies in Gorakhpur region. Therefore, approximately 23820 candidates will be selected for the second stage based on their performance in second stage. RRB ALP Cut off 2018 of Gorakhpur for CBAT
This stage is conducted for ALP posts only. Candidates equal to 8 times the number of ALP vacancies is selected for CBAT based on RRB Gorakhpur ALP Cut off 2018 of second stage. Out of total 1277 vacancies, approximately 10216 candidates will be selected for document verification. The merit list of ALP will be prepared by giving 70 % weightage to Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% to CBAT.

The final allotment cut off of RRB ALP will be announced after document verification process is over. Based on RRB ALP cut off of Gorakhpur for final allotment candidates will be offered appointment to ALP and Technician post. While for ALP posts, the final allotment cut off will be decided based on Part A of second stage CBT and CBAT.
