TNTET Result 2023 - The TRB will announce the TNTET 2023 result online. TNTET result 2023 will be released at trb.tn.nic.in. The result of TNTET 2023 will be released in the form of PDF after the examination. The Tamil Nadu TET result 2023 will be released for both papers - paper I and II separately. TNTET result 2023 PDF will contain the roll number and the overall marks secured by the candidates in the exam. Along with the result, the authorities will also release the TNTET scorecard. To download the TNTET scorecard 2023, candidates will have to use their User ID and Password. The TNTET scorecard will contain the name of the candidates, marks scored in each section, qualifying status etc. TNTET exam 2023 will be held tentatively in November 2023.

Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will only be considered TNTET qualified. As per the TNTET cut off, candidates must secure at least 60% (general) and 55% (reserved category) marks in order to pass the eligibility test. Candidates considered qualified as per TNTET result will be awarded the eligibility certificate later. The test will be conducted for two papers - paper I and paper II. Paper I is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 1 to 5 while papers II is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 6 to 8. TNTET Eligibility Certificate

After the declaration of TNTET result 2023, all qualified candidates will be awarded the eligibility certificate. No, it is not mandatory. You can take in either paper I or II depending on the classes you wish to teach. As per the TNTET exam pattern, Paper I of TNTET 2023 is conducted for those who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 while Paper II is held for those who wish to become teachers from classes 6 to 8.

There is no upper age limit. As you are a graduate then the criteria for you is-You must hold Graduation degree and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). You can fill online application form of TNTET from May 2020. All applicants will be able to fill the application form in online mode till April 2020. You must meet the eligibility criteria before they start filling the TNTET application form.

candidates can apply for TNTET  paper 1 or paper2 or both as per the eligibility.

for TNTET paper1:

  • All the aspiring candidates must have completed and passed 10+2/HSC and also must have a Diploma in Education/Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized institute

  • Or, candidates who are in final year and appearing for D.E.Ed. can also apply for TNTET 2019. However, during documents verification candidates will have to provide the D.E.Ed certificate or else they will not be eligible to receive the TET eligibility certificate

Yes, it's imperative to do teacher's training program whether it's BEd or DEd for a candidate to be in teaching profession whether it's through CTET or State Level TETs. It doesn't matter whether your degree in discipline of science, commerce, technical, management etc.

Along with being a graduate from a recognized University, BEd or DEd is important.
