RRB Chennai ALP Cut Off 2018 - Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Chennai will shortly release the cutoff for CBAT in online mode. Candidates who have appeared for RRB Chennai can check the result and scorecard released by the examination authority on June 4, 2019. The cut off of RRB Chennai ALP for second stage CBT was released on April 5, 2019. The Board had announced the revised RRB ALP cut off for the first stage on December 20, 2018. Earlier, the cut off was announced for first stage CBT on November 2. Based on the overall and qualifying cut off of the first stage, candidates will be selected for the next stage. RRB Chennai ALP 2018 marks are calculated in three stages - raw marks, prorated marks and normalised marks where the raw marks are calculated out of 75 and the prorated marks are calculated out of 100. The cut off of RRB Chennai ALP will be declared separately for Community wise, Ex-Servicemen, and PWD candidates.

RRB Chennai ALP cutoff 2018 for final allotment will be calculated based on Part A of the second stage CBT. The First Stage CBT was conducted only to screen candidates for second stage CBT. The conducting authority has prescribed qualifying cut off for first stage CBT. Candidates need to secure the qualifying cutoff as per their category to qualify the exam. Candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage CBT based on their merit in the first stage. There are total 3,821 vacancies in this region. Candidates 15 times the number of vacancies in this region will be selected for the next stage. Approximately, 57,315 candidates will be shortlisted for second stage CBT based on the RRB Chennai ALP cut off of the first stage.

RRB ALP Cut off 2018 of Chennai for Second Stage: CBT Shortlisting of candidates for the second stage is done on the basis of RRB Chennai ALP cut off 2018 of the first stage. This stage comprises two parts – A and B. Candidates need to score qualifying cut off in both the parts to qualify. RRB ALP Cut off 2018 of Chennai for CBAT: Candidates equal to 8 times number of ALP vacancies in this region will be shortlisted for CBAT based on their performance in Part A of second stage CBT. Out of total 460 vacancies of ALP, approximately, 3680 candidates will be selected for CBAT. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test battery of CBAT. The qualifying cut off of CBAT is 42 for each test battery. The merit list will be drawn from amongst the candidates qualifying CBAT after giving 70% weightage to the marks obtained in Part A of second stage CBT and 30% weightage to the marks secured in CBAT. RRB ALP Document Verification Based on the performance of candidates in Part A of the Second Stage CBT and CBAT candidates will be selected for document verification for ALP posts. While candidates who have applied for Technician posts will be called for document verification based on Part A of the second stage CBT only.
