About Kerala Police Constable 2019

Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) will conduct the Kerala Police Constable exam. Registrations for Kerala PSC Constable is done in online mode.  Applicants will be required to click on 'One Time Registration' if they do not have an account at the Kerala Public Service Commission official website. There is no application fee for KPSC Police Constable exam. If aspirants have an Aadhar card, they should provide that as their ID on their profile while applying.

Kerala PSC Police Constable exam will be conducted in two steps, which are: 1) OMR Examination and 2) Physical Measurement/Physical Efficiency Test. KPSC Police Constable OMR exam and based on which the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted only for applicants who have cleared the OMR Exam. Selection for Kerala PSC Police Constable exam will be made Battalion-wise and candidates can only select one battalion.

Kerala Police Constable 2019 Eligibility Criteria

For Kerala Police Constable exam, KPSC has issued minimum requirements that are to be fulfilled by applicants. Read further for the eligibility criteria for KPSC Police Constable exam:

Age and age relaxation:

  • Applicants must be between 18 to 26 years old to apply for KPSC Police Constable exam. 
  • Applicants who belong to OBC, SC or ST community will be granted a relaxation for the upper age limit.
  • Applicants who are Ex-Servicemen will also be granted relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification: Applicant must have passed the HSE exam (Plus Two) or its equivalent.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be minimum 168cm high. 
  • Aspirants must have a minimum of 81 cm normal chest size and a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
  • Applicants belonging to SC and ST communities must have a height of at least 160 cm and a chest size of 76 cm with 5 cm of expansion.
  • Candidates must have verified distant eyesight of 6/6 Snellen and verified near eyesight of 0.5/0.5 Snellen in both the eyes.

The Official Site is going to update soon,until the official site opens we can not say the exam date .According to the information up to the date is starting date and ending date of the application is May/June 2020 (Tentatively) .And the application process is going to be online..
