    AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    • Nationality - The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    • Educational Qualification -

    1. For Flying Branch - Candidates must have passed a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and must have a Graduation with a minimum of three years' degree in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

    2. For Ground Duty - Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree.

    AFCAT 2026 Exam Pattern

    Candidates who are appearing for the AFSB interview can go through the following stages -

    • Stage 1 - Officer Intelligence Rating Test, along with Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

    • Stage 2 - Psychological test, the Group Tests and Interview.

    AFCAT 2026 Admit Card

    The AFCAT admit card 2026 will be issued by the IAF on the official website. Candidates can download the AFCAT admit card at afcat.edcil.co.in.     Have a question related to AFCAT ?

    Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the AFCAT 2 2026 exam. However, you will only be eligible to appear for the Ground Duty and not the Flying Branch, as you are past the age limit for the flying branch requirements.

    For Flying Branch through AFCAT , B.Tech is not compulsory. You can apply with a BSc degree in Physics & Maths in 12th, or any graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
