CDS Marking Scheme
As mentioned in the exam pattern of CDS, the marking scheme specifies that there are a total of 340 questions for INA, IMA and AFA of 300 marks while for OTA there are 240 questions of 200 marks and one-third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions in the CDS exam.
CDS Result 2026
UPSC releases the CDS result 2026 in online mode on the official website. The result of CDS 2026 written test is released in PDF format and consists of the academy-wise names of all the shortlisted candidates who are eligible to appear for the SSB. The final merit list is released in PDF format after the SSB and medical examination are over. This list consists of academy-wise roll numbers and names of all candidates who are finally recruited to the vacant positions of CDS.
CDS Cut off 2026
The CDS cut-off is the minimum qualifying mark prescribed by UPSC to qualify for the exam. Aspirants must score equal to or more than the prescribed marks to qualify for each stage of the CDS exam. The CDS marks will be released academy-wise along with the result.
CDS Salary 2026
Aspirants who finally get recruited to the vacant posts of CDS get posted as Lieutenant and get the CDS salary equal to Level 10 which is Rs. 56,100- Rs 177500, the MSP is Rs. 15500. Candidates get allowances also like dearness allowance, flying allowance, dress allowance, transport allowance, and field area allowance.
