CDS Important Dates 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the important dates of CDS 2020 exam in their annual calendar. The Commission released CDS 2020 application form and notification on October 30, 2019. As per CDS 2020 important dates, candidates were able to fill the application form till November 19, 2019. CDS 2020 will be conducted for the admission of candidates to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai. The exam authorities have announced 418 vacancies in CDS 2020 notification.

Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the application form will be issued CDS 2020 admit card before the exam. As per CDS exam dates, it is expected that the admit cards will be available for candidates to download in the second week of January, 2020. CDS-II admit card will likely be released in the second last week of October, 2020 since the exam is to be conducted on November 8. In order to download CDS admit card, candidates will have to log in using their registration ID and date of birth. Candidates must carry their CDS 2020 admit card to the exam centres or else they will not be allowed to take the exam. Candidates must also carry a valid photo identity along like Aadhaar Card with the admit card. Important information like the address of the exam centre, reporting time, CDS exam dates 2020 and schedule etc. will be mentioned on the admit card.
UPSC released CDS application form 2020 on October 30, 2019. The last date to fill CDS application form was November 19, 2019. The application form of CDS-II will be released on August 5, 2020. The last date to fill CDS-II application form will be August 25, 2020. OBC and general category male candidates have to pay a requisite fee of Rs. 200 while filling CDS application form. Female candidates and SC/ ST are exempted from paying any fee. Filling the application form of CDS is a two-part process. In part-I, candidates have to register themselves and then they can proceed to fill the details of CDS application form in part-II.
The exam authorities will release the result of CDS 2020 tentatively in the month of April. CDS result 2020 will include the list of candidates who have cleared the written examination. CDS result PDF files will include names and roll numbers of the candidates shortlisted for SSB Interview. It is expected that the result of CDS-II will be released by the end of December.The CDS final result will be declared after the SSB interview is conducted. The result of the medical examination will be taken into account at a later stage. The CDS (I) date for the final result 2020 is expected to be November while CDS (II) final result is likely to be declared in May tentatively.
According to CDS 2020 dates, it is expected that the candidates will be issued admit cards for CDS-I in the month of January. CDS admit card will only be available for candidates to download on the official website of UPSC.
CDS answer key will be released after the declaration of the result.
Candidates can download previous year question papers from the ‘Archives’ section on the official website - upsc.gov.in.
Candidates will have to score CDS cutoff marks in order to qualify the exam. CDS 2020 cutoff will be released separately for each academy after the exam has been conducted.
CDS is conducted twice a year. CDS 2020 (I) will be conducted on February 2 while CDS 2020 (II) will be conducted on November 8. Applications will open for CDS-II on August 5, 2020.

Administration and Logistics: Age should be between 20-23 years for Graduates. You should be a Graduate or a Post Graduate in any discipline with atleast 60% marks.
Education: Age should be 20-25 years for Post Graduates and you should be a Post Graduate in any stream with 50% marks.
Accounts: 20-27 for M.Ed, Ph. D, CA, ICWA. Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Commerce. If you have Bachelor's degree then you should have 60% marks and if you have PG degree, then you should have 60% marks.
Through Non AFCAT entry, there are CDSE and FTS. For meteorology branch, age should be between 20-25 years and for Phd students, age should be 27 years. Students should have post graduate degree in any science stream.
There is also NCC Special Entry Indian Air Force. Age should be 20-24 years. You should be a graduate in any stream with aggregate of 60% marks and you should have studied Maths and Physics in your 12th and have passed with 60% marks. Or BE or B.Tech with 60% marks is also accepted
