CDS Exam Dates 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released CDS 2019 Exam Dates exam in its official annual calendar. CDS important dates provide all the dates related to application form, admit card, result and answer key, etc. Candidates should check CDS 2020 Exam Dates 2020 to stay updated with all the events pertaining to exam. CDS I 2020 notification will release on October 30, 2019. Along with the release of notification the examination authority will also released the application form. As per CDS exam dates 2020, the last day to fill the application form will be November 19, 2019. CDS Application Form 2020

UPSC CDS I application form 2020 will release on October 30, 2019. As per CDS 2020 exam dates, candidates will be able to fill the application form till November 19, 2019, in online mode by visiting the official website. Application form of CDS exam is filled in two parts. In Part 1 of the application form, candidates have to register for the exam by submitting details like name, parents’ name, nationality, category, email id, contact details, corresponding address, etc. While in Part 2, applicants have to pay the examination fee, upload scanned images of photograph and signature and sign the declaration. Candidates also need to pay CDS application fee as per their respective categories, either through credit/ debit card, net banking or through bank challan within the prescribed CDS 2020 exam dates. Hence it is advisable for the candidates to know CDS Exam dates 2020 to fill application form in advance.

CDS Admit Card 2020

Knowing CDS 2020 Exam Dates is important to download the admit card. Authority will release the admit card of CDS I exam one month prior to the examination. Candidates can download CDS admit card by entering either roll number/registration number or date of birth/password in the login window. The last date to download admit card for CDS 2020 exam will be February 2 (the day of examination). CDS admit card mentions candidate’s details, date, time, venue of exam. The admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam. It is advisable that candidates should keep the admit card till the declaration of the result to be updated regarding CDS exam dates.

CDS Result 2020

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the result of Combined Defence Services (CDS) for written and final exam separately in online mode. Though authority has not announced CDS result dates but is likely to be out in April. The result will be available online in the form of PDF. Candidates who score minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be further called for SSB Interview. The minimum qualifying marks is decided by the exam conducting authority, UPSC. A Merit list will be prepared to select candidates for various defense courses are done on the basis of candidate’s performance in written exam and SSB Interview.

Hello dear student,

I would suggest you to buy a general knowledge book which is that will help you with the GK questions. And then you should buy a book of reasoning and aptitude pictures that will help you to improve your aptitude questions. Why you asking for a book then I would like to recommend you pathfinder CDS it is one of the best books you can and have for the preparation. While for afcat you can buy Aarihant's afcat book for preparation. I hope this was helpful to you.

yes you may apply in cds if you become eligible in education and age criteria.

age limit is 24 or 25 years old according to post wise. you may apply in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers' Training Academy (OTA - Men), Officers Training Academy (OTA - Women, Non-Technical).

hi,

cds exam happens twice a year. the following age criteria is applicable to appear in cds exam:

For Indian Military Academy (IMA), unmarried candidates born not  before than January 2, 1997 and not later than January 1, 2002 can only apply.

For Indian Naval Academy (IMA), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 1997 and not later than January 1, 2002 are eligible.

for Air Force Academy candidate should be between 20 to 24 years as on January 1, 2021 (born not earlier than January 2, 1997 and not later than January 1, 2001).

For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men), unmarried male candidates born not before than January 2, 1996 and not later than January 1, 2002 are eligible for the exam.

For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course), candidates should be unmarried and born not earlier than January 2, 1996 and not later than January 1, 2002.

so you are not eligible for any of the post as per age criteria.

Hello Shubham,

I regret to inform you that with Biology in 10+2 you are not eligible for an officer  which is a technical post.However, you can become a doctor in Armed force, for this you need to appear for NEET and get good rank.The admission done under AFMC.You can also pursue B.sc Nursing in military as you have studied Biology in 10+2.You can only become an officer(technical post) if you have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2.
