UGC NET 2026 Re-Exam Dates Announced for English, Commerce, and Sociology
The conducting body, the National Testing Agency (NTA), announced the UGC NET Re-Exam Dates 2026 for three subjects, namely English, Commerce, and Sociology. NTA announced the re-conduction of the UGC NET exam for three subjects, including English, Commerce, and Sociology, after an expert committee appointed by NTA examined all complaints regarding errors in these question papers and suggested that NTA re-conduct these exams to ensure an error-free exam.
The National Testing Agency issued a notification specifying the revised re-examination schedule. As per the released notification, the UGC NET English Re-Exam 2026 and the UGC NET Commerce Re-Exam 2026 are scheduled for September 9, 2026, while the UGC NET Sociology Re-Exam 2026 is scheduled for September 10, 2026.
Along with announcing the re-exam schedule, NTA released the provisional UGC NET answer key for the remaining 84 subjects on August 16, 2026.
