TG TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

As we know, a candidate must meet the required TG TET eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The TG TET eligibility 2026 is the minimum qualifications that a candidate must possess in order to apply for the exam. The TG TET paper 1 and paper 2 eligibility criteria vary slightly.

TG TET 2026 paper 1 eligibility -

• Educational Qualification - Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a pass in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year B.El.Ed. / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education). (OR)

• Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a pass in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year B.El.Ed. / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

TG TET 2026 paper 2 eligibility -

• Educational Qualification - B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks and a pass in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education.

• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks.

• 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks.

• Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects (OR) Bachelor of oriental language (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in language concerned.

TG TET 2026 Application Form - Mode of Application

The TG TET 2026 application form link is activated on July 22, 2026, in-service teachers on the official website, tgtet.aptonline.in. Candidates were able to fill out the TG TET application form 2026 and pay the fee till April 30, 2026. They need to submit the TS TET application in online mode only. Any other mode except that is not acceptable. Candidates need to make sure that they submit the required details correctly. Once applied, candidates are recommended to keep a hard copy of the TS TET application form with themselves.

Steps to fill the TG TET Application Form 2026

• Visit the official website of TG TET - tgtet.aptonline.in

• On the homepage, the link to fill out the TG TET application form is present.

• Pay the TG TET 2026 application fee.

• After the payment, candidates need to submit the scanned copies of their photograph and signature.

• On successful submission, candidates are required to save all the details that they have given in the application form.

• Click on ‘submit’.

• Download for future reference.

TG TET Application Form 2026 - Fee details

Paying the TG TET application fee 2026 is important in order to finish the application process correctly. The TG TET application fee varies for candidates appearing for one paper and both papers. The TG TET 2026 application fee can only be paid online through various payment methods. The TG TET application fee structure is as follows -

• Exam fee for single paper (only Paper 1 or only Paper 2) - Rs 750.

• Exam fee for both Paper 1 & Paper 2 - Rs 1000.
