RPF Application Form 2018 - The application form of RPF has been released by Ministry of Railways on June 1, 2018. Candidates have to fill RPF application form online. The application fee is Rs 500 for general and OBC male candidates while it is Rs 250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and women which can be paid both online and offline. How to fill RPF Application Form 2018?

Step 1: RPF 2018 Registration
Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
Select the group to apply
Read the instructions carefully before registration
Enter details like name, date of birth, father’s name, Aadhaar number (optional), category, state, education board, year of passing Class 10/matric, mobile number, email id, roll number of class 10/matric
Agree to the terms and condition and click on ‘Continue’ button
On successful registration, One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to candidate’s email address and mobile number along with registration details
The details of registration will also be sent to candidate’s registered email id and mobile number

Step 2: Verification of mobile number and email id
Click on ‘Verify through OTP’ link
Enter the OTP received on registered email id
On verification of email id and mobile number, registration number will be generated
Candidates can proceed with online application by clicking ‘Candidate Login’ link by using the registration number
Step 3: Fill educational details and preferences of zonal railways (Part II and III)
In this part candidates have to provide educational qualification, Community, Gender, Religion, ExSM, Minority, Economically backward class, Age relaxation eligibility category as applicable and other details.
Candidates have to enter preferences of railways. They can set their priority or preferences by clicking on ‘Preference’ dropdowns.
Candidates have to furnish all relevant information on their educational qualification.
Choose exam language for appearing in Computer Based test. English is the default language but candidates can choose other language apart from English from the drop down list of languages.
Candidates have to fill details like mother tongue, address for communication etc.
Step 4: Payment of examination fee
On completion of application details candidates will be directed to the Payment page to choose payment mode online or offline.
Candidates should provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they would like to receive the refund like Beneficiary name, Bank name, Account Number and IFSC Code in the online application.
It is mandatory for all candidates to fill their bank account details.
In case of online payment, candidates will be automatically directed to the next stage of application for uploading documents.
Those paying through offline mode i.e Bank challan, the payment confirmation may take about an hour. The time period for payment confirmation may vary from 24 hrs to 48 hrs in case of Post Office payment.
On getting the confirmation status, candidate can proceed further with the online application process.

Step 5: Uploading of photograph and documents
After payment of fees, candidates have to upload their photograph.
Candidates have to choose ‘Upload Photo’ tab for uploading photograph.
The photograph should be coloured and recent and in between 15 to 40 Kb.
The size of the photograph should be 35 mm X 45 mm with name and date printed on it.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST have to upload scanned copy of their SC/ST certificates in JPG/JPEG format.
The file size should be between 50kb to 100kb for availing the facility of free travel authority (Second Class Railway Pass).
At the end of RPF application form candidates have to agree to the declaration and submit RPF application form. Candidates have to download and print RPF application form and preserve it for reference.

Ans: The password is sent to candidate’s email id and mobile number. Candidates can retrieve the password from email id and mobile number.
Ques: What if I did not get payment confirmation?
Ans: Candidates opting for fee payment through challan will get their payment confirmation within 60 minutes. If any candidates do not get confirmation within an hour have to login again to check the same.

Ans: Candidates have to login with their registration number and password to check RPF 2018 application status.
Ques: What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the page?
Ans: This depends on internet connectivity, large number of applicants registering at the same time. If candidates are not able to get registration page immediately after it is released, retry after a gap of 15 minutes or at night.

Ans: There are five stages of registration. RPF registration is successful only on completion of all the stages including the fee payment and photo upload. Candidates will receive an email and SMS alert on the completion of successful registration.
