RPF Recruitment 2020 – The Indian Ministry of Railways will release the RPF recruitment 2020 notification for SI & Constable posts separately. The exam conducting body will conduct the RPF SI exam and constable exam to recruit Sub Inspector (SI) and Constable exam to recruit candidates for RPF (Railway Protection Force) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). RPF Recruitment exam 2020 for RPF Constable and SI will be conducted in 3 stages - CBT (Computer Based Test), PET/PMT (Physical Entrance Test/Pre Medical Test) and DV (Document Verification). Candidates selected for DV will undergo medical tests before getting appointed to the vacant posts. Candidates will have to undergo training at RPF/RPSF centres. Passing the final examination at the end of training will mark their recruitment in the force. As per RPF exam pattern, the CBT has questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for PET/PMT. RPF Recruitment 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
Indian Ministry of Railways prescribes the RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020. The eligibility criteria consist of the age limit, nationality, academic qualification and physical requirements that a candidate needs fulfil in order to fill the application form. How to Apply for RPF Recruitment 2020
Candidates will have to fill RPF Application Form 2020 in online mode only. By visiting the official website of RPF, candidates will have to register by submitting their details like name, father’s name, date of birth, documents like Aadhaar card details, category, roll number of Class 10th or graduation, year of passing, contact details etc. Post entering these details, candidates will be able to generate their registration number and password. These credentials will be used by them to fill up the next stage of the application form like - entering their academic qualification, gender, religion, ESM, Minority, Age relaxation, eligibility category etc. Pay the application fees, Choose a group and zones/RPSF, exam centres and language for CBT, Upload scanned photograph and signature.

Candidates who successfully apply for RPF 2020 will be issued the admit card. The admit card will have to be downloaded from the official website. Candidates will have to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID - Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID etc. They will also have to bring a passport size photograph along with them. If candidates fail to carry any of these documents, they will not be able to appear for the exam. The admit card will have important details like candidate's name, roll number, registration number, exam centre address and exam day guidelines.
As per the selection process of RPF there are three stages - CBT (Computer Based Test), PET and PMT (Physical Entrance Test and Pre Medical Test) and DV (Document Verification). To qualify the exam, candidates must pass in each stage. Candidates will have to score marks equal to or more than the cutoff to qualify the CBT, the PET and PMT is qualifying in nature and no marks, after qualifying this stage candidates will have to appear for the Document Verification which is the final stage of the selection process. After the DV is done, they will have to go through the training process for SI and Constable and will have to pass in the training exam that follows. Their qualification in the training exam will mark their recruitment into the vacant positions.
The exam pattern of RPF recruitment 2020 covers marking scheme, a number of papers, time duration, qualifying marks and a number of questions. The standard of the CBT exam for SI is graduation level while that of constable is of Class 10 level. Questions in CBT are asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. There are a total of 120 questions and the time duration is 90 minutes. Total marks allotted is 120. Candidates can choose any of the languages for appearing in CBT from Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi and Manipuri. 1 mark is awarded for a correct answer while 1/3 marks is deducted as negative marking per the wrong answer. The exam conducting authority prescribes the syllabus of RPF recruitment 2020. The syllabus contains topics from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The detailed syllabus is given below:

RPF releases the result in online mode. To check the RPF result candidates have to either log in with their credentials or roll numbers. The result of RPF will be available in a PDF file. A RPF merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s marks in CBT basis. On the basis of the merit list, they will be called for the second stage - PMT and PET. The PMT and PET are qualifying in nature, it is mandatory to clear this stage. On the basis of candidate's performance in CBT, PET and PMT, they will be called for DV. RPF results are announced separately for different phases. Asper 2018 data, Indian Ministry of Railways released the final result of RPF Group A, B, and F on July 15, 2019, and published the answer key of RPF Constable for Group A, B and F on February 15, 2019, while the answer key of RPF SI recruitment of Group A, B, C and D was released on February 6, for all regions.
The cutoff of RPF recruitment 2020 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must score in CBT to get selected for PET/PMT. The examination authority announces the qualifying cutoff as well as the overall cut off. The qualifying marks for CBT is 35% for general and OBC category while it is 30% for SC and ST. The overall cutoff is decided out of the total marks, it is calculated on the basis of the number of candidates who appeared, the difficulty level of the exam and number of vacancies which are released. RPF 2020 recruitment cutoff is available as per regions, posts and categories on the official website. As per 2019 recruitment data, RPF released category-wise final cut off and final merit list of RPF Constable 2018 exam on August 11, 2019. The final merit list was published in PDF format.
Candidates who are planning to appear for the RPF exam must go through the RPF model question papers to know the type of questions asked in the exam, the topics on which the questions are based, the marking scheme etc. Candidates must refer to the question papers and the solutions for practice.
