The Indian Ministry of Railways will release the RPF recruitment 2025 notification for SI & Constable posts separately. The exam conducting body will conduct the RPF SI exam and constable exam to recruit Sub Inspectors (SI) and Constables for the RPF (Railway Protection Force) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). RPF Recruitment exam 2025 for RPF Constable and SI will be conducted in 3 stages - CBT (Computer Based Test), PET/PMT (Physical Entrance Test/Pre Medical Test) and DV (Document Verification). Candidates selected for DV will undergo medical tests before getting appointed to the vacant posts.

Candidates will have to undergo training at RPF/RPSF centres. Passing the final examination at the end of training will mark the candidate's recruitment in the force. As per RPF exam pattern, the CBT has questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Approximately 73 lakh candidates appeared for the RPF 2024 exam. RPF Recruitment 2025 - Eligibility Criteria

Indian Ministry of Railways prescribes the RPF Eligibility Criteria 2025. The eligibility criteria consist of the age limit, nationality, academic qualification and physical requirements that a candidate needs fulfil in order to fill the application form. How to Apply for RPF Recruitment 2025

Candidates will have to fill RPF Application Form 2025 in online mode only. By visiting the official website of RPF, candidates will have to register by submitting their details like name, father’s name, date of birth, documents like Aadhaar card details, category, roll number of Class 10th or graduation, year of passing, contact details etc. Post entering these details, candidates will be able to generate their registration number and password. These credentials will be used by them to fill up the next stage of the application form like - entering their academic qualification, gender, religion, ESM, Minority, Age relaxation, eligibility category etc. Candidates need to pay the application fees, Choose a group and zones/RPSF, exam centres and language for CBT, Upload scanned photograph and signature.

RPF Admit card 2025

Candidates who successfully fill the application form will be issued RPF 2025 admit card. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website. Candidates will have to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID - Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID and a passport size photograph. If candidates fail to carry any of these documents, they will not be able to appear for the exam. The admit card will have important details like candidate's name, roll number, registration number, exam centre address and exam day guidelines.

RPF Selection Process 2025

As per the RPF selection process 2025 there are three stages - CBT (Computer Based Test), PET and PMT (Physical Entrance Test and Pre Medical Test) and DV (Document Verification). To qualify the exam, candidates must pass in each stage. Candidates will have to score marks equal to or more than the cutoff to qualify the CBT, the PET/ PMT is qualifying in nature and has no marks, after which Document Verification which is done in the final stage of the selection process. After the DV stage, candidates will have to go through the training process for SI and Constable and will have to pass in the training exam that follows. Their qualification in the training exam will mark their recruitment into the vacant positions.

RPF Exam Pattern 2025

The RPF exam pattern 2025 covers marking scheme, a number of papers, time duration, qualifying marks and a number of questions. The standard of the CBT exam for SI is graduation level while that of constable is of Class 10 level. Questions in CBT are asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. There are a total of 120 questions with total 120 marks and the time duration is of 90 minutes for the RPF 2025 exam. Candidates can choose any of the languages for appearing in CBT from Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi and Manipuri. 1 mark is awarded for a correct answer while 1/3 marks is deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. The exam conducting authority prescribes the RPF syllabus 2025. The syllabus contains topics from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The detailed syllabus is given below:

RPF Result 2025

RPF authority releases the result in online mode. To check the RPF result 2025 candidates have to either log in with their credentials or roll numbers. The result of RPF will be available in a PDF file. A RPF merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s marks in CBT exam. On the basis of the merit, they will be called for the second stage - PMT and PET. The PMT and PET are qualifying in nature, it is mandatory to clear this stage. On the basis of candidate's performance in CBT, PET and PMT, they will be called for DV. RPF results are announced separately for different phases.

RPF Cut off 2025

The RPF cutoff 2025 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must score in CBT to get selected for PET/PMT. The examination authority announces the qualifying cutoff as well as the overall cut off. The qualifying marks for CBT is 35% (general and OBC category) while it is 30% (SC and ST). The overall cutoff is decided out of the total marks, it is calculated on the basis of the number of candidates who appeared, the difficulty level of the exam and number of vacancies which are released. RPF 2025 cutoff is available as per regions, posts and categories on the official website. The final merit list is published in PDF format.

RPF is one of the most demanding jobs which provides a lot of benefits and they get a decent salary. RPF salary per scale is 5200/- to 20,200/- along with a grade pay of 2000/-. The salary depends on the class X,Y,Z cities.
