RPF Eligibility Criteria 2019 – The Ministry of Railways will prescribe the eligibility criteria of RPF recruitment along with the notification. RPF eligibility criteria 2019 are requirements that candidates must fulfill to become eligible to apply for the posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector available under Railway Protection Force (RPF). The eligibility criteria contain parameters including age limit, nationality, educational qualification and physical measurement required to apply for the posts. As per RPF 2019 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Sub-Inspector post of Constable must be between 20 and 25 years while for Constable post, candidates should be 18 to 25 years of age.
RPF eligibility criteria 2019 determines that candidates applying for Sub Inspector post must have completed graduation while for Constable, applicants should have passed class 10. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed by the conducting body to apply successfully for the exam.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Relaxation in age
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be able to avail relaxation in the upper age limit. The category-wise age relaxation has been provided in the table below.

Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989. (Unreserved)
UR - 5 years
Only for the post of Sub Inspector: Central Govt. employees (Unreserved) other than ex-servicemen, who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular & years continuous service on the date of reckoning
UR - 5 years
Widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from husband but not remarried.

Educational Qualification - The educational qualification required for Constable’s post is Class 10 while it is graduation for Sub-Inspector post. Candidates yet to receive their final result of Class 10/ graduation are not eligible to apply for the exams according to RPF 2019 eligibility criteria.

RPF Eligibility Criteria - Reservation
Candidates belonging to reserved categories must submit requisite documents during document verification to avail reservation.
Candidates will be considered against unreserved vacancies subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria irrespective of the category they belong to.
Against the vacancies for specific reserved communities (SC, ST, OBC-NCL) candidates belonging to other categories will not be considered.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories who fulfill required educational qualification can apply for unreserved vacancies as well. In such cases, candidates will have to compete with the unreserved category (general) candidates during the course of the selection process.
Reserved category candidates applying under unreserved categories will not be able to utilize relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.
RPF exam is conducted by the Ministry of Railways to recruit candidates for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector. The recruitment process is completed in three stages – Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification. RPF application form 2019 will be released in the first week of June in the online mode. The application form will be available till the last week of June. Candidates will be able to pay the fee using both online offline mode. Candidates successfully registering for the exam will be issued RPF admit card ten days prior to the commencement of each stage of the exam.
