RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020 – Indian Railways will prescribe the eligibility criteria of RPF 2020 recruitment in the RPF notification. RPF 2020 eligibility criteria include age limit, minimum qualification, nationality, physical measurement required to apply for Constable and Sub-Inspector posts available under Railway Protection Force (RPF). As per RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020, candidates' age must be between 20 and 25 years for Sub-inspector post while the age limit for constable post is 18 to 25 years. Candidates applying for RPF Sub Inspector post must have completed graduation while for RPF Constable, applicants should have passed class 10 according to the RPF notification 2020. RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Highlights

Candidates applying for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector in RPF should fulfill the following eligibility criteria of RPF 2020

• Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India
• Age Limit: For the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector, the age limit is as follows:

Note: Age of candidates will be calculated as on July 1, 2020. Candidates must provide the date of birth mentioned in class 10 certificate.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020 – Relaxation in age

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be able to avail relaxation in the upper age limit for the RPF exam. The category-wise age relaxation has been provided in the table below.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020- Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required for RPF Constable’s post is Class 10 while it is graduation for RPF Sub-Inspector post. Candidates yet to receive their final result of Class 10/ graduation are not eligible to apply for the exams according to RPF 2019 eligibility criteria.

Candidates must fulfill the following category-wise physical standards.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2020- Reservation

• Candidates belonging to reserved categories must submit requisite documents during RPF document verification to avail reservation.
• Candidates will be considered against unreserved vacancies subject to fulfilling the RPF eligibility criteria irrespective of the category they belong to.
• Against the vacancies for specific reserved communities (SC, ST, OBC-NCL) candidates belonging to other categories will not be considered.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories who fulfill required educational qualification can apply for unreserved RPF vacancies as well. In such cases, candidates will have to compete with the unreserved category (general) candidates during the course of the selection process.
• Reserved category candidates applying under unreserved categories will not be able to utilize relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.

RPF exam is conducted by the Ministry of Railways to recruit candidates for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector. The recruitment process is completed in three stages – Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification. RPF application form 2020 will be released in the first week of June in the online mode. The application form will be available till the last week of June. Candidates will be able to pay the fee using both online offline mode. Candidates successfully registering for the RPF exam will be issued RPF admit card ten days prior to the commencement of each stage of the exam.
