RPF Eligibility Criteria 2018 – The eligibility criteria of RPF recruitment 2018 has been prescribed by Indian Railway Recruitment Board. RPF eligibility criteria 2018 details out the parameters like age limit, nationality, educational qualification and physical measurement required to apply for the posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector. According to RPF 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for the post of Constable should be 18 to 25 years and completed their SSLC/Class 10 examination. On the other hand, only graduate candidates in the age group of 20 to 25 years can apply for the post of Sub-Inspector as per RPF eligibility criteria 2018. Total 9739 vacancies have been announced for the posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector. Candidate’s eligibility will be verified at the time of document verification. Candidates not meeting the eligibility conditions will be disqualified from the recruitment process. Candidates should check eligibility criteria before filling the application form of RPF 2018. Candidates applying for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector in RPF and RPSF have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

 

Nationality: Candidates should be Indian national.

 Educational Qualification: The educational qualification required for Constable’s post is SSLC/matric while it is graduation for Sub-Inspector’s post. Candidates awaiting their final result of Class 10 or graduation are not eligible for applying as per RPF 2018 eligibility criteria. The post-wise educational qualification is given below:

RPF Eligibility Criteria - Reservation

  • All candidates irrespective of category will be considered against unreserved vacancies subjected to fulfilling the parameters.

  • Against the vacancies for specific communities (SC, ST, OBC-NCL) candidates belonging to that category will not be considered.

  • To avail reservation, SC, ST, OBC-NCL candidates have to submit required documents at the of document verification.

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL category who fulfill required educational qualification can also apply against unreserved vacancies. They will have to compete with the unreserved category candidates and will not be eligible for any relaxation including age.

 

RPF recruitment is conducted in three phases – Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV). RPF application form 2018 has been released online on June 1. Candidates will be able to register for RPF 2018 till June 30. The last date of fee payment through online and offline mode is July 2 and 5, 2018 respectively. Applicants can upload photograph and make final submission of the application form till July 7, 2018. The application form can be filled in various stages – registration, filling application form, fee payment, choosing zone/RPSF and language for CBT, uploading photograph and signature and final submission. RPF admit card for each stage of selection process will be released 10 days before the exam.
