Hello,

In personality test you will be assessed based on your honesty, integrity, Understanding, academic performance, social behaviour, general knowledege, Communication skills, grasping power, alertness etc.It does not have any set of standard questions but it may begin with asking you to tell about yourself. And questions will be asked from based on what you have said for example if you have said that your hobby is to read books they may ask you questions on the book which you have recently read, like who is the author, who suggested etc.You just need to be yourself and be able to express yourself. You need to be honest.

can we write upsc by open degree

Shubhangi sinha 31st Jan, 2020

Hello Ganesh,

Yes, you are eligible for the civil service exam even after completion of degree from an open University.

The university giving you the degree must be recognised by state or centre government.

Open Universities like NIOS and IGNOU are all recognised by the government of India.

Open degree courses are good as it gives you the plenty of time to focus in your preparation for the exam.

Good luck,

Hope it helps :)

Hello Abhi,

Greetings!

There is no particular college for preparation of UPSC as it is an exam conducted in state level to collect merit students who then get ranked jobs in civil services such as IAS, IPS, IAFS, Armed forces, etc.

However, there are various trusted and certified coaching centers in India where you can prepare for this exam. For example:

  1. Vajiram and Ravi IAS coaching, Delhi
  2. Plutus IAS coaching, Delhi
  3. Shankar IAS Academy, Chennai
  4. Analog IAS Coaching, Delhi
  5. National IAS Academy, Bangalore
  6. ALS IAS- Situated in 4 Bindu Palit lane, Near Girish park Metro, Kolkata is one of the most reputed coaching centre in Kolkata.

These are some of the best coaching institutes for preparation of UPSC. Hope I have resolved your query. Please write to us if you have any more questions.

Best of Luck!
