UPSC CMS Result 2019 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final UPSC CMS 2019 Result with individual scores on January 6, 2020. Earlier authorities had released the final result of UPSC CMS 2019 on December 27, 2019 in online mode on upsc.gov.in. Candidates can download the UPSC CMS result 2019 by following the steps given below.
1. Visit the official website of UPSC (upsc.gov.in)
2. Click on the link activated after the declaration of result.
3. The link will redirect the candidates to a new page, where the pdf file of UPSC CMS Result 2019 will be displayed.
4. Candidates have to enter their roll number and check from the pdf.
5. The roll number of qualified candidates will be highlighted.
6. Download the result pdf and keep it for future references.
As per UPSC marking scheme, UPSC CMS computer-based examination has 2 papers – paper 1 which comprises of questions asked from General Medicine and Paediatrics while paper 2 comprises questions asked from Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine. Each paper of UPSC CMS carries 250 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/ 3 marks will be deducted from total marks.
The result of UPSC CMS computer-based exam has been released for the candidates who score the qualifying marks released by the commission. UPSC CMS is conducted for 500 marks. The computer-based exam has two papers comprising of General Medicine and Paediatrics and Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine.
The final result of UPSC CMS has been released in December after the personality test. UPSC CMS final list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in computer-based test and personality test. The candidates are also alloted various services/posts as per their preference and rank obtained by them.
The cut off of UPSC CMS has been released separately for computer-based exam and final. Candidates who secure marks equal or above the cut off released by the commission will be eligible to appear for Personality test/Interview. As per previous year analysis, candidates belonging to General, OBC, SC/ST have to secure 30 % in each paper to qualify the computer-based exam. While PH candidates have to score minimum of 20 % marks in each paper. The final cut off UPSC CMS is calculated on the basis of marks secured by the last finally recommended candidate.
