MPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 – Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the MPPSC 2019 exam pattern in official notification on November 14, 2019 in online mode. As per the exam pattern of MPPSC 2019 commission conducts the exam in three stage – Prelims, Mains and Interview for recruitment to various administrative posts of Madhya Pradesh PSC. As per official notification MPPSC exam pattern 2019 the prelims exam consists of two papers – General Studies and General Aptitude Test (GAT). Candidates qualifying prelims exam will be further selected for next stage of selection process of MPPSC. It is to be noted that MPPSC mains exam will contain six papers as specified in MPPSC 2019 exam pattern. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in Mains will be called for Interview. MPPSC exam pattern 2019 provides information such as number of papers, subjects, topics, duration, total marks, type of questions, distribution of marks and marking scheme for each stage of the exam.

MPPSC prelims exam was conducted on January 12, 2020 in offline mode. Exam conducting authorties had enabled the link to download admit card between January 4 to 11, 2020. Commission will declare MPPSC 2019 result on January 31, 2020 in online mode .

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 - Preliminary Exam

The prelims exam of MPPSC 2019 comprises two papers – General Studies and General Aptitude Test. The prelims stage of the exam will be conducted in the offline mode and consist of only objective type questions. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Therefore, marks secure in the exam stage will not be considered while preparing the final merit list. MPPSC will determine the qualifying marks of both the paper. On the basis of marks secured in the prelims exam, candidates will be shortlisted to appear for Mains exam and Interview.   • General Aptitude Test (GAT) of MPPSC 2019 is of qualifying nature only.
  • Only those candidates who secure 40% minimum cut off in prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the exam, in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates have to secure minimum qualifying cut off 30% in prelims exam.

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2019 - Marking Scheme for Prelims

As per the marking scheme determined by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, candidates will be awarded 2 marks for every correct response in the prelims examination. However, the Commission has not specified negative marking for wrong answers.

MPPSC 2019 Exam Pattern - Mains Examination

The mains exam of MPPSC 2019 is a written exam consisting of only conventional type questions. According to MPPSC exam pattern, the exam will comprise total 6 papers. The first four papers are on general studies while the fifth and sixth papers are for Hindi language – General Hindi and Hindi Essay Writing. Except the papers specifically for Hindi language, all other papers will be bilingual, that is, questions in the papers will be asked both in English and Hindi. After the commencement of the Madhya Pradesh state service mains exam, the Commission will determine the minimum qualifying marks of the exam. Based on marks secured by candidates in the mains exam, candidates will be called for Interview. After Interview, the Commission will release a final merit list based on the aggregate marks obtained by candidates in Mains exam and Interview. Nature of Questions in MPPSC 2019 Mains Examination

  • General Studies paper-I, paper-II & paper-III will comprise two sections and individual marks allotted to it is 150.
  • Individual answer sheet will be provided to each sections of paper.
  • Each section will comprise 15 very short answers, 10 short answers and 3 long answers. Though these numbers can be altered as per requirement of the paper.
  • Fourth paper of General Studies will comprise 15 short answer and 15 short comment answers and 1 or 2 case study answers. Though it can be altered as per the necessity.
  • For 3 mark answer candidates have to write 45 words, for 6 marker - 100 words and for 15 marker answer approximates 300 word limits should be written in subjective papers.
  • Similarly like prelims, candidates must secure 40% in each paper of MPPSC 2019 mains exam to move for the next stage of selection process.

MPPSC Syllabus 2019

Commission has prescribed the syllabus for Madhya Pradesh state service exam in official notification. Candidates who are preparing for the exam should know that syllabus for prelims and mains exam is separately provided in the official MPPSC broucher. Hello Aspirant, It is not possible to tell you full exam pattern but I can tell exam and their marks.

There are 4 paper for General Studies for 3 hours and 300 marks.

Fourth and Fifth paper is of General hindi and Hindi essay of 2 hours and 200 Marks.
