MPPSC Exam Pattern 2023 - Preliminary Exam

According to the MPPSC 2023 exam pattern, there will be two papers: General Studies and General Aptitude Test (GAT). Candidates who pass the preliminary test with a score of at least 40% will be eligible to take the mains exam. SC/ST/OBC applicants must obtain a minimum of 30% in the prelims test to be considered.

MPPSC 2023 Mains Exam: Question Type

  • There will be two parts in General Studies paper-2 and Paper-3. Each paper will consist of 150 marks.

  • There will be 15 very short answers, 10 short answers, and 3 long answers in each question. And the number of questions may be varied depending on the paper's requirements.

  • According to the exam pattern, the fourth paper in the general studies will consist of 15 short responses, 15 short comment answers, and 1 or 2 case study answers. The number of questions may vary.

MPPSC Pattern for Interview

According to the MPPSC exam pattern, the interview will be the final stage of the MPPSC recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates from the mains stage are required to appear in the interview round of MPPSC. Candidates need to be updated about all the whereabouts of the state as well as national and international news. This is one of the important stages for the final selection.

MPPSC Marking Scheme 2023

Prelims: For each correct answer in the preliminary test, candidates will be awarded two marks. There is no negative marking in the prelims round of MPPSC.

Main: To qualify for the mains stage, candidates must secure 40% in each paper.

There are 4 paper for General Studies for 3 hours and 300 marks.

Fourth and Fifth paper is of General hindi and Hindi essay of 2 hours and 200 Marks.
