WBCS Notification 2019 – West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) conducts West Bengal Civil Service to recruit candidates for various posts under Group A, B, C and D. The admit card of WBCS has been released online on January 22, 2019. To download the admit card candidates have to either enter enrollment no or the first name and date of birth. WBCS notification 2019 was released online on November 6, 2018. The application form was available along with the notification of WBCS 2019. The last date to submit the online application form was November 26, 2018. The exam will be held in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Personality Test. WBCS Eligibility Criteria 2019
Nationality - Candidates must be citizens of India
Age limit for Group A, C and D – Between 21 and 36 years (as on January 1, 2019)
Age limit for Group B - Between 20 and 36 years (as on January 1, 2019)
Relaxation of age (Upper age limit)
SC and ST candidates: 5 years
OBC candidates: 3 years
PwD candidates: upto 45 years(11:30 am onwards)
Note: Only candidates belonging to reserved categories from West Bengal are eligible for age relaxation.
Education Qualification – Graduation from a recognised University
WBCS Application Form 2019
West Bengal Public Service Commission had released the application form of WBCS 2019 along with the notification. WBCS application form was available online from November 6, 2018. The application fee was Rs. 210 for general and OBC candidates which could be paid online and offline. SC/ ST candidates from West Bengal and PwD candidates were exempted from paying the registration fee.

WBCS Selection Process 2019
West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) conduct WBCS exam in three stages – prelims, mains and personality test. To be shortlisted for the Mains exam, candidates must obtain more than or equal to WBCS prelims cutoff determined by the Commission. Candidates securing the qualifying cut off marks in the Mains exam will be called for Personality Test. On the basis of candidates’ performance in the Personality Test, a provisional list will be prepared to recruit candidates for the various posts available.
