RBI Officers Grade B 2018 - The application form of Officer Grade 'B' (DR) for General, DEPR and DSIM is now available from July 3. Candidates can fill the application form of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 in online mode till July 23. RBI Officer Grade 'B' (DR) General, DEPR, and DSIM is scheduled to be held on August 16 for phase I. Phase II exam for Officer Grade B (DR) for General will be conducted on September 7 whereas phase II exam for Officer Grade B (DR) for DEPR and DSIM is to be conducted on September 6 and 7. The examination for RBI Officers Grade B 2018 will be conducted in three phases - I and II followed by Interview. Candidates must appear in both the papers. The total number of vacancies for RBI Officer Grade B is 166.

Reserve Bank of India has released the notification of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 on June 29. The phase 1 of RBI Officers Grade B exam consists of a single objective type paper carrying 200 marks while phase 2 consists of three papers carrying 300 marks in total. The shortlisted candidates in RBI Officer Grade B phase 2 exam will be called for Interview which will be conducted for 50 marks. To appear in RBI Officer Grade B exam, candidates must have a minimum of 60 % (50 % in case of SC/ST/PWD) in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 12th and 10th standard examination.

 

As per the eligibility of RBI Officer Grade B, candidates must be in between 21 to 30 years of age. For M. Phil and Ph. D candidates the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years, respectively. Final selection of candidates will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured in Phase II and Interview round. RBI Officer Grade B Application Form 2018

 

The application form of RBI Officer Grade 'B' for all departments - General, DEPR and DSIM is available from July 3 to 23. Candidates applying for the exam should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. The application process of RBI Grade B 2018 will include multiple steps such as personal details, selection of exam centres, uploading of photograph and signature and fee payment. Candidates should not upload any document or certificates related to age, educational qualification and physical disability.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Eligibility


To be eligible for RBI Grade B 2018 candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions as prescribed by RBI:

  • Must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan

  • Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 who has the intention of settling permanently in India.

  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Age limit: Candidates must be between 21 years and 30 years to apply for RBI Officer Grade B 2018.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Selection Procedure


Selection for RBI Officer Grade B will be done through written examinations and interview round. To get shortlisted candidates must appear in all the papers online. Only successful candidates in Phase I will be able to appear for Phase-II examination. Based on the results of Phase II examinations candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II (Paper I + Paper II + Paper III) and Interview.
 

RBI Officer Grade B Admit Card 2018

 

RBI will release the admit card of RBI Officer Grade B separately for all the phases. The candidates can download the admission call letter two weeks prior to the examination. Candidates have to produce in original the photo identity proof and submit a photocopy of the photo identity proof along with admit card while appearing for the exam.

 

RBI Officer Grade B Exam Centres 2018

RBI has released the list exam centres of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 exam for both phase I and II. Candidates must select only one centre for Phase I and one centre for Phase–II separately during online application form fill up. Preferences of exam centres by candidates for Phase-I and Phase-II examinations can be different or same. The allotment of exam centres will be on "first-apply-first allot" basis depending on the availability of seats in a particular centre.

RBI Officer Grade B Exam Pattern 2018

 

RBI Grade B 2018 Exam is conducted in three phases – phase-I, phase-II and Interview process.

RBI Officer Grade B Phase-I: The phase I examination will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be four subjects in Phase-I such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning carrying 200 questions to be completed within 2 hours duration.

RBI Officer Grade B Phase-II: Second phase of RBI officer Grade B examination will consist of three papers for 300 marks to be completed in 3 hours.

RBI Officer Grade B Interview round: After selection candidates have to sit for the interview round 50 marks. Candidate can take the interview either in Hindi or English language.
