RBI Officers Grade B 2018 - Reserve Bank of India has declared the result of Phase - II for the post of DEPR and DSIM on October 25 in the form of pdf whereas the result for General was released on October 8. The exam of Phase II for General (Paper I, II & III) and Paper II for DEPR/DSIM was conducted on September 15/16. The exams were conducted in two shifts for all three posts. The shortlisted candidates in the RBI Officer Grade B phase II exam will be called for Interview which will be conducted for 50 marks. RBI Officer Grade B admit card for phase II/paper II and III exam was released on September 6. All those candidates who had qualified RBI Officer Grade B 2018 exam in Phase I (General) and Paper I (DEPR/DSIM) appeared for the next phase of the exam.

The total number of vacancies for RBI Officer Grade B is 166. Final selection of candidates will be declared through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured in Phase II and Interview round. The RBI Grade B phase I cut off 2018 was released on September 7. The result of RBI Officer Grade B Phase - I was declared on September 5 for all three departments.

The cut off for RBI Grade B 2018 has been released for phase I exam for the general department. The table below contains the category wise sectional cut off of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 (general) for the exam conducted on August 16.
RBI Grade B Cut Off 2017 – Phase I (General)
The result of RBI Officer Grade B Phase II for DEPR and DSIM has been declared on October 25 whereas the result for General was announced on October 8, 2018, in the form of PDF. Based on the results of Phase-II examinations candidates will be shortlisted for Interview round. A merit list will also be prepared by RBI. Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in phase-II of the exam (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) and Interview.

RBI had released the admit card of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 phase II exam on September 6. The candidates have to download separate admit cards for both the shifts -morning and afternoon. RBI Officer Grade B admit card can be accessed by entering their roll number/registration number and date of birth/password in the login window. Candidates have to produce in original the photo identity proof and submit a photocopy of the photo identity proof along with admit card while appearing for the exam.

RBI Officer Grade B Phase-I General: The phase I examination for General had 200 objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There were four subjects in Phase-I such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning carrying 200 questions to be completed within 2 hours duration.
RBI Officer Grade B Paper-I DEPR/DSIM:
- There were three sections with a total of 62 questions. Total marks for paper 1 of DEPR/DSIM is 100. Section I and II carried one, two and three mark questions and Section III carried one, two and four mark questions.
- For wrong answers, there was a negative marking of 1/3 marks for 1 mark questions, 1/2 marks for 2 marks questions, 1 mark for 3 marks questions and 2 marks for 4 marks questions for all sections.
- No Mathematical tables, Engineering tables, Calculators or Communication devices (including Cellphones) were allowed to be used or even allowed to be kept with the candidates.
RBI Officer Grade B Phase-II General: Second phase of RBI officer Grade B examination will consist of three papers for 300 marks to be completed in 3 hours. For incorrect answers, 1/4th of the marks will be deducted.

RBI Officer Grade B Interview round: After selection candidates have to sit for the interview round 50 marks. Candidate can take the interview either in Hindi or English language.
The application form of RBI Officer Grade 'B' for all departments - General, DEPR, and DSIM was available from July 3 to 23. Candidates applying for the exam should have ensured that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. The application process of RBI Grade B 2018 included multiple steps such as personal details, selection of exam centres, uploading of photograph and signature and fee payment. Candidates should not upload any document or certificates related to age, educational qualification and physical disability.
RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Eligibility
As per the eligibility of RBI Officer Grade B, candidates must be in between 21 to 30 years of age. For M. Phil and Ph. D candidates the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years, respectively. Final selection of candidates will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured in Phase II and Interview round. To be eligible for RBI Grade B 2018 candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions as prescribed by RBI:
Must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan
Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 who has the intention of settling permanently in India.
A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
- To appear in RBI Officer Grade B exam, candidates must have a minimum of 60% (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 12th and 10th standard examination.
Age limit: Candidates must be between 21 years and 30 years to apply for RBI Officer Grade B 2018.
Number of Attempts: The maximum number of attempts (applicable for candidates belonging to Unreserved/General Category) is 6. No restrictions are applicable for reserved categories.
RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Selection Procedure
Selection for RBI Officer Grade B will be done through written examinations and interview round. To get shortlisted candidates must appear in all the papers. Only successful candidates in Phase I will be able to appear for Phase-II examination. Based on the results of Phase II examinations candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II (Paper I + Paper II + Paper III) and Interview.
RBI Officer Grade B Exam Centres 2018
RBI has released the list exam centres of RBI Officer Grade B 2018 exam for both phases I and II. Candidates must select only one centre for Phase I and one centre for Phase–II separately during online application form fill up. Preferences of exam centres by candidates for Phase-I and Phase-II examinations can be different or same. The allotment of exam centres will be on "first-apply-first allot" basis depending on the availability of seats in a particular centre.
