IBPS SO Preliminary Exam 2027
The preliminary exam is the first stage of the IBPS SO selection process 2027. Candidates who successfully submit their IBPS SO 2027 application form are eligible to appear for the preliminary stage. The preliminary stage is conducted online, and there are a total of 150 questions asked in the exam. The total marks are 125, with a time duration of 40 minutes. The questions are asked from four subjects - Reasoning, English language, General awareness, with special reference to the banking industry. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary stage are eligible to appear in the mains stage.

The mains stage is the second phase of the IBPS SO exam. The mains stage is conducted for two posts - Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari. For Law Officers and other posts, there will be 60 questions of 60 marks from Professional Knowledge with a time duration of 45 minutes. For Rajbhasha Adhikari, the questions will be 45 questions from Professional Knowledge (Objective) of 60 marks and 2 questions from Professional Knowledge (Descriptive).
