RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure 2019 – Reserve Bank of India or RBI releases the selection procedure of RBI Officer Grade B every year, through its official brochure. RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure 2019 is nothing but the stages of the recruitment process. Note: RBI Officer Grade B examination is held for General, DEPR and DSIM. The scheme of exams is different for all three departments.
RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure – Stage-I Online Examination (Objective Type):
The first phase online examination comprises a single paper for 200 marks. The paper is expected to be conducted in the third week of August 2019. The examination may be held in multiple shift, on multiple days. Candidates, whose appliRBI Officer Grade Bions are accepted by RBI have to appear in the first stage online exam. The ‘corrected-scores’ obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method.
Stage I Exam Scheme
Only those candidates will be shortlisted for the stage II examination who manage to secure the minimum cut off marks in the first stage examination. However, candidates must secure the minimum cut off marks separately for each subject/section as well as the aggregate cut off marks in the first stage exam of RBI Officer Grade B. The minimum aggregate cut off marks of stage I examination will be decided by the Board with respect to the number of vacancies. The RBI Officer Grade B result for the first phase will be declared in the form of roll numbers of the qualified candidates by the last week of August 2019.
RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure 2019 - Stage-II Online Examination (Objective Type):
RBI Officer Grade B Stage II examination will be held in the first week of September 2019. The exam will be held only for those candidates who are shortlisted for stage II from Stage I, based on the result of phase/stage-I. According to RBI, the stage-II exam will be held in shifts. Candidates have to appear in all the shifts. All candidates will be issued separate admit cards for each shift. The exam scheme of RBI Officer Grade B stage–II online exam will have three papers as shown under:

The result of RBI Officer Grade B stage II examination will be declared in the form of roll number of the qualified candidates in a PDF file. Candidates qualifying in the stage II online examination (based on the aggregate marks in Paper I+Paper II+Paper III) will be shortlisted for appearing in the Interview.
Note: Except the English paper, all other papers of stage II exam will be conducted in English and Hindi languages.
RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure - Stage-III - Interview:
Only those candidates will be eligible to appear in the interview who manage to secure the aggregate marks in Paper I+Paper II+Paper III of stage II online examination. The Board determines the minimum aggregate cut off marks for shortlisting candidates for interview based on the number of vacancies. The admit card for the interview will be sent to the candidates on their registered email ID. The total marks allotted for the interview are 50. Candidates can opt for the interview either in Hindi or English. After the interview, candidates have to wait for the merit list.
RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure - Stage-IV – Final Selection:
A merit list will be prepare finally which will be prepared by adding marks of candidates in stage-II exam and interview. Based on this merit list, the final selection of the candidates will be done.

Candidates qualifying the four stages, will have to get their documents verified.
