RBI Grade B Selection Procedure 2020 – Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has determined the RBI Grade B selection process for the selection of the candidates as Grade B Officers at General, DEPR, DSIM departments. As per RBI Grade B 2020 selection process, the test will be conducted in three stages - stage I, II (computer-based test), and interview. Candidates qualifying in the prelims stage will be able to appear for the next stage of the selection process of RBI Grade B 2020. The prelims stage of RBI Grade B will be qualifying in nature and marks secured in it will not be added while making the final merit list. The mains exam will be the second stage in the RBI Grade B selection process 2020 while the mains qualified candidates will have to appear for the interview round wherein candidates will go through the documents verification.

RBI Grade B 2020 Selection Procedure
As per the selection process of RBI Grade B, the test will be held for the following three stages:
RBI Grade B Selection Process - Stage I Online test
The Stage I online test is the first step in the selection process of the RBI Grade B 2020 exam. The stage I exam will be conducted in multiple shifts and days depending on the number of candidates taking the test. The test will be held for a total of 200 marks wherein the marks obtained by the candidates will be normalised by using equipercentile method since the level of the exam might be different in different shifts and slots. All those candidates securing marks equal to or more than the minimum RBI Grade B cut off marks will have to appear for the next stage. RBI Grade B 2020 Selection Process - Stage II Computer Based Test
The second stage computer-based test of the RBI Grade B selection process 2020 will be taken by only those who will pass in the first stage. As per the exam pattern, this stage of the RBI Grade B selection process will have three papers of 100 marks each. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete each of the three papers. Candidates passing in this stage of the selection process of RBI Grade B 2020 will have to further appear for the interview and document verification stage. RBI Grade B Selection Process 2020 - Interview
After qualifying on stage II of RBI Grade B 2020 selection process, candidates will have to appear for the interview stage. The details related to the interview date, schedule and venue will be intimated to the candidates through RBI Grade B admit card. Through this interview, candidates will be asked questions based on the personality, banking, current affairs related to banking, etc. The interview will be held for a total of 50 marks wherein candidates will be to select the medium of the interview (Hindi/English).
RBI Grade B 2020 Selection Process - Final Merit List
After the conclusion of all the exams of the RBI Grade B selection process, the authorities will release the final merit list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the stage II exam and the interview stage.

RBI Grade B Selection Procedure 2020 - Document Verification
Candidates qualifying for all three stages will have to appear for the document verification stage Candidates must produce the same documents which they had uploaded while RBI grade B application form filling. This stage in the RBI Grade B selection process is to ascertain the eligibility of the candidates. Candidates who successfully produce all the documents will be considered for recruitment.
Pay Scale of RBI Grade B Officer
The basic pay of recruited candidates will be Rs. 35,150 per month. Recruited candidates will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules. Initial gross emoluments from this year are approximately Rs. 77,208.

What After Appointment?
Appointed candidates may be posted or transferred anywhere in India. On appointment and joining, candidates will serve in the Common Seniority Group. There will be a probation period of 2 years which can be extended to up to 4 years. Later on, the seniority of the candidates will be fixed according to the ranking worked out by using the standard percentile score of aggregate marks. Promotions will be given based on the recruit’s performance.
