UPTET 2018 - Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the revised result for UPTET paper I. Earlier, the result of UPTET 2018 was declared on December 5 whereas for paper II (elementary stage) the result was announced on December 11 in online mode. Candidates can check their results by entering roll number and captcha code in the login window. The authority had published the final answer key of UPTET 2018 for all the sets on November 30, 2018 after after reviewing the objections of the candidates. The answer key of UPTET 2018 was available in the form of pdf for all sets. Earlier, the provisional answer key of UTET was released on November 22. Candidates were given an opportunity to challenge the official UPTET answer key and raise their objections till November 23. To appear in UPTET for both the posts - primary and elementary level teachers the eligibility criteria are different but in terms of age, candidates must be between 18 to 35 years of age.
The application form of UPTET 2018 was available from September 18 to October 7. The last date to pay the application fees of UPTET was October 9. The official UPTET answer key 2018 was released on November 22 in online mode. Candidates who appeared in the test can check the official UPTET 2018 answer key by visiting on the link provided above. UPTET answer key 2018 helps the candidates to check correct answers to questions asked in the exam. Based on the number of correct and incorrect responses, candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores. Two separate answer keys have been released for a paper I and paper II. For both the papers, all the four sets of answer keys that is (A, B, C, D) has been published. All the sets show the correct answers of all the subjects. UPTET selection procedure 2018 includes stages of the recruitment procedure. All the appearing candidates need to secure the cutoff in order to qualify the written exam. The UPTET exam carries 150 marks in paper I and paper II. Read below for more details.
Stages of the selection process
All the candidates need to fill the complete application form and submit the required documents along with application form.
All the selected candidates will undergo a written examination.
To qualify written exam, candidates need to secure a decided cutoff for the written exam. The cut off is decided by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board.
Candidates qualifying UPTET written exam will be eligible to receive UPTET eligibility certificate.
Candidates qualifying written exam will be given UPTET eligibility certificate. The UPTET eligibility certificate will be valid for 5 years and they can apply for the teaching post in schools of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can take their eligibility certificate from the district education board by submitting details like admit card and photo identity card.
UPTET admit card was released by UPBEB in online mode and could be downloaded till November 18, 2018. Candidates had to carry the admit card to the exam centre. Without the UPTET admit card, candidates were not allowed in the exam hall. The application form for UPTET 2018 was released on September 18. The UPTET application form could be filled and submitted in online mode till October 7. While filling the application form of UPTET, candidates had to fill in essential details and complete the entire process carefully. The application fees could be paid till October 9. Selection of district from where candidates want to write the examination
Filling up of Aadhaar card number
After the payment, complete the online UPTET application by mentioning the registration number, date of birth and transaction id/journal number provided by the bank and submit the form. On final submission of the form, a computer generated registration and password will appear on the screen. Use this registration number and password to login. Take the print out of the application form for future reference.
After registration, the candidates have to pay the application fee to complete the application process. The fee can be paid online through the Payment Gateway. The application fees are given below:
UPTET 2018 eligibility criteria include conditions that candidates must meet in order to be eligible for the recruitment process. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for UPTET before applying, so as to ensure that they are eligible for it. The eligibility criteria of UPTET carries information about eligibility conditions related to age, educational qualification, etc. for both the posts that are primary and upper primary teachers. As per the eligibility criteria of UPTET, a general category must be between 18 to 35 years of age. For OBC and SC/ST, age relaxation will be given.

UPBEB conducts UPTET 2018 exam to recruit candidates for the post of teachers for primary and upper primary level. Eligibility criteria for both the applicants are different. Check the details given below. All the applicants must have a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks.
Primary Teacher (Class I to V)
1. Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university and 2 years diploma (D.Ed) from NCTE.
Or, Bachelor’s degree & 2 years B.T.C, C.T. (Nursery)/Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
Or, Bachelor’s degree & qualification in special B.T.C Training.
Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VIII)
Bachelor’s degree & B.T.C from NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education).
Or, Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% & B.Ed/B.Ed special education from Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI).
Or, Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks & 4 year B.A/ B.S.C.Ed/ B.A.Ed from NCTE/ UGC recognized university.
Or, Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks & 4 years (B.EL.ED)
Or, Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45% marks and B.Ed degree
Sanskrit and English Teacher (Class I to V)
Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit/English

Exam pattern of UPTET 2018 helps a candidate to understand the structure of all the stages of the examination. Super TET Exam is the 2nd level of Exam after qualifying State level TET/ CTET exam. In this paper there are 2 papers: Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for class 1 to class 5 and Paper 2 is meant for teachers opting for class 6 to class 8.Aspirants who successfully clear their UPTET or CTET exam can apply for the Super TET exam. The exam is mandatory for teaching jobs in Government as well as Private class 1 to class 8.
