    UP TET Full form - The UPTET is one of most popular teaching recruitment exams, especially in the state of UP. The UPBEB conducts the UP TET exam. The UP TET exam is conducted once a year to make candidates eligible to apply for teacher posts in primary (Classes 1-5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) schools run by the state government of Uttar Pradesh.

    What is the UPTET full form?

    The UPTET full form is Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the UPTET exam on an annual basis.

    UP TET Eligibility Criteria

    As per the eligibility criteria of UPTET, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university in order to fill the application form of the UPTET. The age limit of interested candidates must be between 18-35 years of age. Candidate should be a citizen of India/ Nepal/ Bhutan/Tibet. There is also upper age relaxation given to candidates belonging to candidates from reserved categories.

    UPTET Exam Pattern

    The UPTET exam is conducted for two papers - 1 and 2. Both the papers are conducted in pen and paper mode. The questions as per the exam pattern of UPTET are in objective type, multiple choice format. The duration of both the question papers is 2 hours 30 minutes respectively. The difficulty level of the UPTET question papers is of primary and upper primary level. There are no negative markings in the UPTET exam. The questions in the exam as per the syllabus of UPTET will be based on Pedagogy, Hindi, English/Urdu/Sanskrit, Science, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

    The questions will be based on subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Language 1 and Language 2 and Environmental studies. The UPTET paper 2 also has the same questions however, the Environmental studies subject is exchanged with Science and Mathematics (OR) Social Science. Candidates can apply for either paper 1 or paper 2, or both.
