As mentioned in the official website of the KSET, there is no upper age limit to apply for KSET 2022.

KSET 2022 eligibility criteria - Educational Qualification

Candidates who have scored at least 55% marks in general category and 50% for Schedule Category/ Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST), Persons with Disability (PWD), OBCs in Master's Degree OR equivalent from a recognized by UGC New Delhi, in the subjects opted for KSET will be eligible to appear for the exam as per the KSET eligibility criteria.

Candidates awaiting their result

As per the KSET 2022 eligibility criteria, candidates pursuing their Master's Degree or those who have appeared for their Master's Degree (Final Year) with the result awaited may also apply for KSET 2022. However, they will have to produce their qualification certificates during the document verification to get selected. According to the KSET eligibility criteria 2022 candidates will have to secure at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC, ST, OBC i.e. and PWD candidates) within two years from the date of KSET result, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

The eligibility criteria of KSET 2022 also mentions that candidates shall appear for KSET in their relevant subject of post-graduation only, in case the subject of their post-graduation in the list of KSET subjects is not there, they must appear in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

According to the KSET 2022 eligibility criteria, Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result), are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.

KSET 2022 eligibility criteria-Reservation policy

The eligibility criteria of KSET 2022 also states that candidates from different categories other than general category will have to mention their reservation status while filling the online application form. Candidates will have to produce their category certificates issued by the competent authorities on or before the last date for submission of online application form.In case their ineligibility is detected due to invalid certificate, their candidature will be cancelled and legal action might also be taken against them.

KSET eligibility criteria 2022 for candidates from other states

OBCs (SC, ST & Other Backward Classes) candidates from other states except Karnataka, will be treated as General Merit [GM] only. As per the reservation policy of Karnataka Government.

KSET eligibility criteria 2022 for re-appearing candidates

Candidates who qualified in the previous KSET exam are not eligible to apply again in the same subject. If they do so in the current KSET, their candidature will be cancelled and their previous eligibility will be withdrawn through de-notification.

Who is exempted from appearing in the KSET 2022 exam?

KSET qualification is the minimum eligibility required for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities / Colleges / Institutions of Higher education in Karnataka State. These education institutions can be government, aided or private.

However, candidates who have qualified the UGC-NET/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are exempted from KSET examination. NET/SET/SLET remains the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment of Assistant Professors in educational institutions. Candidates cleared SET accredited by UGC for eligibility for Assistant Professor held prior to 1st June 2002, are also exempted from appearing in KSET, being eligible to apply for Assistant Professor anywhere in India.

The University of Mysore, will release the application form of KSET 2022 in online mode on the official website. Upon release, candidates will be given specified time during which they will have to submit the application form. While filling the application form, aspirants will have to enter their details such as name, parents information, date of birth, upload scanned documents like photograph, signature or personal ID as asked. After filling all these details aspirants will have to pay the application fee in online mode through debit/credit card or net banking. Candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the KSET admit card 2022 to appear in the exam.

There is no architecture paper in K SET exam which is taken for the selection of the post for assistant professor lecturer in different subjects taken by State eligibility Test authority. There are two subjects one is compulsory which players 100 marks of 50 questions, another paper is for the subject which consist of 100 questions and 200 marks. Questions bears two marks of 15Questions, that is candidate has to attempt 150 questions.. engineering students who has father's empty or any degrees with definite qualification decided by UGC we have to appear for not engineering size but for chemical science, life science, environmental science, mathematical science physical science , only. Only biotechnology students can appear for this KSET exam

Hello, If you do not have  Masters score card you can still apply for KSET exam. You can submit the score card after the exam also. For such students, they provide a certificate. You will have to show the final score card within two years after passing the exams. All the best.
