CAPF Full Form: The CAPF full form is Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exam. The CAPF exam is conducted on the pan-India level annually. There are three stages in CAPF - preliminary test, physical efficiency test, medical test and personality test/interview. Candidates who qualify through all these tests will be finally recruited on the vacant posts of CAPF.

The CAPF exam is conducted to fill posts of Assistant Commandant (AC) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). These forces come under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

As mentioned in the official notification of CAPF 2024, the selection process consists of three stages -
Written test (Preliminary exam)
Physical Efficiency Test/Medical Test
Personality Test/Interview
Before filling the CAPF application form, aspirants are required to check and meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official notification. If candidates fill out the application form and they fail to meet the CAPF eligibility criteria, their candidature will be rejected at the further stage. The CAPF eligibility criteria consist of nationality, age limit, academic qualification, and physical requirements needed to fill the application form.
As per the age limit of CAPF, candidates must be between 20 to 25 years while filling the application form. However, there is upper age relaxation given to candidates who belong to reserved category candidates. Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline before applying for CAPF. There are also physical requirements that need to be met in order to apply for the CAPF 2024 exam.

UPSC mentions the exam pattern of CAPF in the official notification. As per the exam pattern of CAPF 2024, the first stage is conducted in OMR-sheet-based, offline mode as well as descriptive mode. The UPSC CAPF AC paper 1 has 125 multiple choice questions on general ability and intelligence while paper 2 has descriptive-type questions on general studies, essay and comprehension.

The time duration of paper 1 is 2 hours and paper 2 must be completed within 3 hours. The CAPF exam is conducted in two shifts. There is a negative marking in the paper 1 exam. The written preliminary test is followed by the physical efficiency test/medical test which is then followed by the personality test.

Hello,
Human body needs adequate amount of rest to keep it functioning well for a longer period of time. It requires high maintenance.
When we exhaust it more than its capacity we are damaging it and studying for 18 hours out of 24 hrs is exhausting our body. But there are few students who claim that they study for 18 hrs, but it is not meant for everyone.
Everyone has different strategy and brain. Some people get thorough with the concepts even in just one go but there might be people who need more than a day to get through the topic. So the duration for how long you study does not matters, what matters is that you get well to the concept you read.
So it is not important to study for 18 hrs.

Age criteria for UPSC CAPF AC 2022 exam is between 20-25 years and as per your DOB you'll be nearly 25 years of age at the time of openings of application forms which is mostly in April, 2022(Tentative) .
But , be aware to check the age criteria more accurately as per the required date .

Sorry to say but you are not eligible for UPSC CAPF exam. The limits of refractive errors permitted is -4.00 D (including cylinder) Myopia +4.00 D (including cylinder) Hypermetropia.
