SSC CGL 2018 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination from June 4 to 13 and June 19, 2019. SSC CGL tier 1 exam is being conducted in multiple shifts 362 venues in 132 cities across India in online mode. The approximate number of candidates appearing for SSC CGL 2018 is 25.87 lakh. However, SSC has cancelled the examination at 4 venues in 9 shifts due to some technical errors. Candidates appearing for SSC CGL 2019 exam are able to download their admit card seven days before the examination. Along with the SSC CGL 2019 admit card, candidates will have to carry any one photo identity proof to the examination centre. The result of SSC CGL 2018 is expected to be announced in August 2019.

On the basis of the performance in SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1, candidates will be selected for Tier 2. SSC CGL 2018 tier II and III of SSC CGL 2018 will be held from September 11 to 13 and December 29, 2019, respectively. SSC CGL Admit Card 2018

The admit card of SSC CGL for Tier 1 has been released on May 16 in online mode. To download SSC CGL admit card region-wise, candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth in the login window. The Tier 1 SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) 2018 admit card has been released for candidates whose applications have been accepted by the exam conducting authority. Candidates are required to carry one photo-identity proof along with the SSC CGL 2018 admit card for verification. The admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. SSC CGL 2018 admit card is issued separately for Tier 1, 2, 3 and 4.

SSC CGL Answer Key 2018

The answer key of SSC CGL 2018 for Tier 1 is released after completion of the exam. Candidates have to download SSC 2018 CGL answer key online by logging into their respective accounts using roll number, password (Date of Birth) and exam dates. SSC provides the facility to raise objections against the questions or answers. The window to raise objections of SSC CGL 2018 will be made available along with the SSC CGL answer key. For per answer, candidates have to pay Rs 100 in online mode. The objections raised in SSC CGL 2018 will be examined by experts. If the challenges are accepted then the fee will be refunded to candidates.

SSC CGL 2018 Result

The result of SSC CGL 2018 will be released separately for Tier 1, 2 and final. Initially, SSC CGL result 2018 of Tier 1 will be declared in August 2019 followed by the declaration of Tier 2 and final. SSC CGL 2018 result for all the stages will be made available in PDF file. On the basis of SSC CGL Tier 1 result, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Tier 2 and 3. The final SSC CGL 2018 result will be declared after conduct of Tier 3 and 4.

SSC CGL Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of SSC CGL 2018 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to secure to qualify the exam and become eligible for next round of recruitment process. SSC will announce SSC CGL 2018 cutoff for Tier 1, 2 and final along with the result. SSC 2018 CGL cutoff of is released as per category and posts. There is no sectional cutoff however candidates need to qualify in all sections of SSC CGL 2018. On the basis of SSC CGL 2018 cutoff of Tier II will be eligible for appearing in Tier 3 and 4. The final SSC CGL cutoff 2018 is decided based on the marks of Tier I, II and III. On the basis of final cutoff, candidates are provided allotment. SSC CGL 2018 Application Form

The application form of SSC CGL 2018 was released on May 5. Earlier, the last date of application was June 4, 2018. However, due to a technical glitch in the official website the application deadline was extended to June 5. Candidates could pay the application fee online from May 5 to June 5. Offline fee payment was available till June 7 provided the challan was generated before June 5. Fee for general and OBC candidates was Rs 100 while Women, SC, ST, PWD categories were exempted. SSC CGL 2018 application form could be filled in two parts. In Part I, candidates could fill their basic information. In Part II, candidates could pay their application fees, upload photograph and signature.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2018

SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 is conducted in Computer-Based Mode comprising four sections. According to SSC 2018 CGL exam pattern, Tier 1 exam carries total 100 questions for 200 marks. Candidates have to attempt the paper within 60 minutes. For correct answer in SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1, candidates will be allotted 2 marks while 0.50 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

The exam pattern of SSC CGL of Tier 2 have four papers. Paper I and II is common for all posts while Paper III and IV is for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. The online SSC CGL 2018 comprises total of 500 questions carrying 800 marks. There is negative marking of 0.25 for the wrong answer in Paper II while 0.50 marks will be deducted for incorrect response in Paper-I, Paper-III and Paper-IV. The Tier 3 of SSC 2018 CGL is a descriptive type test held for 100 marks.

SSC CGL 2018 Tier 4 is skill test comprising Date Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

SSC CGL 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus of SSC CGL 2018 for Tier 1, 2 and 3 has been prescribed by SSC. The syllabus outlines the topics that candidates have to cover for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam. Hello dear aspirant.

If you are selected in SSC CGL application then you should go for document verification. You are always advised to check your application form while filling it . As you know it's matter of your own career. But as you have committed a mistake, now no other option to face it. Yes others is unspecified you go for document verification and tell them the situation sometimes matter gets solved by affidavit or sometime by some other ways . Hope you are getting me.

which grade should I select in ssc cgl if Im pursuing final year student

There are no Grade A jobs under SSC recruitment. All the Grade A officers for central govt. are recruited through UPSC. SSC recruits Grade B and Grade C officers. Though there is a Gazetted post (under SSC) like AAO, but it is also Grade B. For Grade A you must prepare for UPSC exams like civil services, defence exams (CDS, OTA, assistant commandant etc). i have been facing problem in selecting the Economically weaker section column in the ssc cgl application its not getting selected as yes or as no also

hi,

see if you are from general category then only you may choose for economically weaker section. if you already belongs to any other category like obc, st or sc etc than you can not choose ews category. if you are from general category and still facing the issues then try after some time and also checks the internet connection.

I am filling SSC CGL form 2019. I see only two options . Post of Junior statistical officer and post of statistical investigator grade || .. what about other posts? does it mean if i fill no for both of these . rest all posts are open to me to choose later?

Dear Aspirant,

These are additional posts and required additional qualification on your part. For junior statistical officer your age must be between 30-32 and for statistical investigator grade II, you have to have statistics as a subject in your graduation.

If you comply with these qualification, fill them, otherwise, you are eligible for all the posts other than these two.
