To attempt the exam, candidates must meet all of the SSC CGL 2025 Eligibility criteria. According to the official notification, candidates attempting the SSC CGL 2025 exam must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. The SSC CGL age limit dictates that only applicants between 18 to 32 years of age will be eligible to attempt the exam.

SSC CGL 2025 Application Fee
Candidates must pay an application of Rs 100 to apply for the SSC CGL 2025 exam. Details pertaining to the SSC CGL application fee 2025 will be detailed in the official notification. Candidates. Women candidates, ex servicemen, candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories and candidates belonging to the PWD category are exempt from paying fees.
The application fee of SSC CGL exam 2025 can be paid both online and offline. In online mode, candidates have the option of paying the SSC CGL application fee via BHIM UPI, Net Banking or through the use of credit/debit cards. Fees can be paid offline in cash by generating a challan at the State Bank of India.

Candidates are advised to go over the syllabus of SSC CGL 2025 before preparation in order to draft a solid study plan for the same. SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025
Along with the syllabus, candidates are also encouraged to go through the SSC CGL 2025 exam pattern. The exam pattern is mentioned in the SSC CGL official notification. The SSC CGL exam pattern contains details that inform candidates of the structure of the paper, the marking scheme, the mode of the exam and many other important details. The exam pattern of SSC CGL 2025 is released separately for each round.
SSC CGL Admit Card 2025
Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL 2025 admit card online on the official regional websites. Candidates who have filled out the application form correctly will be able to download their SSC CGL hall tickets before the exam. The SSC CGL admit card release date will be 3 to 7 days before the exam.
The credentials required for candidates to download their SSC CGL admit card 2025 are the application number or the candidate’s name and date of birth. On exam day, along with the SSC CGL Admit Card, candidates must also carry two recent passport-sized photographs along with a valid ID proof. The date of birth mentioned on your ID proof must be the same as the one mentioned on the admit card.
SSC CGL Exam Centres 2025
The Commission will conduct the SSC CGL exam at a large number of centres across the country. The list of SSC CGL 2025 exam centres is given in the official notification, sorted by the region they belong to. According to the official notification, candidates must pick 3 exam centres from the same region and list them in the order of priority during the application process. Please note that no request to change the exam centre of SSC CGL 2025 will be entertained by the Commission after the application process.
SSC CGL Answer Key 2025
The Commission will release the SSC CGL 2025 Answer keys online on the official website. The Answer keys of SSC CGL 2025 will be made available in 2 stages. First, a tentative answer key is released, and candidates can challenge it within the stipulated time period for a (non-refundable) fee of Rs 100. Please note that any challenges will only be accepted in the online medium, and sending them in any other form, such as fax or letters will not be entertained.
After the objections are scrutinised by the Commission, the required changes will be made and the final SSC CGL 2025 answer key will be released. This SSC CGL answer key cannot be contested, and the decision of the Commission will be viewed as final. The Commission will not entertain any request for rechecking or revaluation at any point in the exam.
SSC CGL Exam Analysis 2025
After the exam, many notable institutes make the SSC CGL 2025 exam analysis available online. The SSC CGL exam analysis is drafted based on the feedback of the candidates who have attempted the exam. Using the exam analysis of the SSC CGL 2025 exam, candidates will be able to gauge their performance in the exam.

The cutoff of SSC CGL 2025 is calculated after normalising candidates' scores, a process where marks are adjusted keeping in mind the relative difficulty of the exam between shifts.

SSC CGL Selection Process 2025
To be able to get recruited for a post via the SSC CGL 2025 exam, candidates must clear the selection process. The first step of the SSC CGL 2025 selection process is the Tier I exam. Candidates who score more than the cut off marks in this round will be permitted to attempt the Tier II exam.
The SSC CGL 2025 Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in Tier II of the exam. Candidates will be allotted posts based on their performance in Tier II, as well as their preference in posts. Please note that once a candidate declares their preference, it is irreversible and can no longer be changed.

Yes, you can fill the SSC CGL form if you are in the last semester of your BTech, but your degree must be completed before the final document verification stage.
So, if your final result comes out before that stage, then you are eligible. Just make sure you will have your degree or provisional certificate by the time SSC asks for documents.

Hello Prince,
To prepare well for SSC CGL Exam, the most essential step is to understand syllabus. Which has following four parts:
1. General Intelligence and reasoning
2. Quantitative Aptitude
3. English
4. General Awareness
Then go through at least last 5 years PYQs. From that you will get to know the main areas of focus and the areas which has been given high weightage in exam from each part.
Based on this divide each part of syllabus into subtopic. And prepare each topic thoroughly through your base sources. Have command over your basics from these sources.
I would like to share some of the resources you may refer to for your preparation
1. For English: Neetu Singh Mam's book
2. For Quantitative aptitude: Aditya Rajan Sir's Videos on YouTube
3. For General Awareness: Lucent's GK + Parcham Classes's Videos on YouTube.
Along with this you need to practice PYQs and give various mock tests to increase your efficiency. You may take a help of various platforms available online for practicing mock tests. Only practicing mock tests is not enough you need to analyze your performance in each mock test.
