HP TET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2019 - Himachal Pradesh Board of School Examination (HPBSE) will release the syllabus and exam pattern for the candidates appearing for HP TET 2019. HP TET syllabus provides the details about the subjects and topic asked in the examination. The syllabus of HP TET comprises topics from child psychology and development, pedagogy, teaching-learning process and general awareness including Himachal Pradesh, current affairs & environmental studies. According to HP TET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2019, the questions will be based on the syllabus of classes VI to VIII. However, the level of questions will be of 10+2 level as per Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

The exam pattern of HP TET varies post-wise for TGT, Shastri, L.T and Punjabi and Urdu Language Teacher and JBT (D.El.Ed). The questions will be designed on the basis of exam pattern for different prescribed posts. There will be 150 questions carrying 1 mark each for different posts. Candidates will be 2 hours 30 minutes to answer the paper. There is no scheme of negative marking for this exam.

Section I and II will be common for TGT (Arts, Non-Medical, and Medical)
Section I comprises child psychology, development, pedagogy and teaching-learning process, whereas section II consisted of general awareness including Himachal Pradesh, current affairs and environmental studies.
Section III and IV will have questions from aspirant’s particular branch.

Total number of questions
150 questions (Section I and II will have 60 questions while section III and IV will have 90 questions).
No negative marks
As per the exam pattern of TGT, the question will be asked from 4 sections. There will be 30 questions from 3 section - I, II and III whereas in IV there will 60 questions asked in the exam.

Yes there is relaxation present for reserved category in HP TET i.e. general category candidates need to score at least 60% i.e 90 marks to qualify HPTET whereas reserved categories need a minimum of 50% or 45% to qualify the exam.
