RPF Application Form 2025

Along with the RPF Notification, candidates can also access the online RPF 2025 application form. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill the application form in online mode. The complete application process will be described in the notification. Candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee to validate their candidature and successfully complete the registration process. While filling the application form, candidates must fill in their basic details like name, father's name, and academic qualification, then upload their scanned photograph and documents wherever necessary, choose the railway zone etc.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2025

The Ministry of Railways will declare RPF 2025 eligibility criteria in the offcial RPF notification 2025. The eligibility criteria consist of nationality, academic qualification, and age limit of the candidates. As per the academic qualification, candidates who are applying for SI must be a graduate, while those applying for Constable must have passed their 10th standard. The age limit for Constable is 18-25 years while that for SI is 20-25 years. Apart from the academic qualification and age limit, candidates must also meet the physical requirements. The physical requirements differ by posts (SI and Constable) and gender (Male and Female).

RPF Admit Card 2025

Candidates who successfully fill out the application form will be issued the admit card. The RPF 2025 admit card can be downloaded by candidates before the exam. The RPF admit card 2025 will consist of important details like name of the candidate, registration number, roll number, exam centre details and more. Candidates will have to carry the RPF admit card to the exam centre along with a valid ID proof like - Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License etc. Any candidate failing to carry the ID proof will not be allowed to write the exam.

RPF Exam Pattern 2025

The RPF 2025 notification also mentions a detailed RPF exam pattern. The RPF 2025 exam pattern consists of details like mode of the exam, number of questions asked in the exam, sections on which the question paper will be based, marking scheme and time duration of the exam. According to the RPF exam pattern, the computer-based test (CBT) will have 120 questions and the time duration will be 90 minutes. The questions will be based on topics like - General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. One mark is allotted for every correct answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer attempted. There is no difference in the exam pattern for Constable and Sub-Inspector posts.

RPF Syllabus 2025

The RPF board will mention RPF 2025 exam syllabus in the official notification of RPF 2025. The RPF 2025 syllabus consists of the topics and sub-topics on which the exam question paper will be based. The question for Constable post will be based on class 10 while that of SI will be graduation level. The question paper of CBT for both SI as well as Constable will be based on General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The topics in General Awareness will be related to Indian History, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, General Science etc. The questions in the Arithmetic section will have questions on fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, profit and loss, discount, use of table and graphs, ratio and proportion, averages, number systems, whole numbers, decimal and fractions and relationships between numbers, interest, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and proportion. The last section of General Intelligence & reasoning will have questions from visualization, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, spatial orientation, problem-solving analysis, analogies, similarities and differences, spatial judgement, decision making, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

RPF Selection Process 2025

As per the RPF 2025 selection process mentioned in the RPF notification 2025, the exam is conducted in 3 stages. The first stage is Computer Based Test (CBT), Second stage of PET/PMT (Physical Entrance Test, Pre-Medical Test) and the third level will be Document Verification (DV). Qualifying each stage is mandatory for candidates. To reach the second stage of the selection process of RPF, candidates will have to score the minimum cut off marks in the CBT stage. Candidates will be recruited to the vacant positions after they fulfil the medical conditions.
